This former Methodist Chapel is situated in Kaber, 2 miles from Kirkby Stephen, between the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales, in an area of outstanding natural beauty and with 360-degree views of the Lake District fells and surrounding countryside. This is an alternative self-catering venue to which you can bring family and friends for an active or relaxing holiday, short break, celebration or reunion. It also provides the perfect environment for secluded business meetings.

The Chapel features:
• 5 bedrooms (3 double and 2 twin)

• Indoor wooden barrel hot tub
• Scandinavian-style indoor barbecue

I booked Kaber Chapel for my friends hen do, the photos online looked amazing and Alison was very helpful in communications before our arrival, e.g. sending us local activity options. When we arrived we were blown away, the photos online just don't capture the size...More

We had a great weekend at Kaber Chapel. Alison was an excellent host. The Chapel itself is brilliant, ideal for large families. Great family space, large kitchen and a cozy lounge on the mezzanine floor. Highly recommended.

Kirkby Stephen is a popular stopover for walkers doing Wainwright’s famous Coast to Coast Walk.
The Eden Valley has a range of activities including walking (from strenuous mountain paths to gentle riverside strolls), cycling, golf, fishing, horse riding, paragliding and canoeing.
