This property has all the ingredients of LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION as Edificio Hawaii (the apartment block) is situated in one of the most convenient and popular zones and is in easy comfortable walking distance to Burriana Beach and Nerja Town Centre. Our semi detached apartment has been refurbished recently and the upgrading has resulted in our apartment 28D being probably the best in the whole of the block. Another unique point about this apartment is that it is south facing with the terrace enjoying the sun from early morning to late and which looks towards the sea. Even in winter this apartment is popular because of the south facing receiving the sun from Nerja's tropical all year round climate. Our normal time for you to access the apartment on the day of arrival is 4 in the afternoon and on the day of departure we would request that you leave the apartment at 10 to 11 in the morning. However we will do our best to try to accommodate your own arrival and departure needs but we shall need to leave time to have the apartment cleaned for our new guest to arrive especially if they are arriving on the same day or there is something in the apartment which needs to be fixed. We know from experience how difficult it is to occupy young children if you have arrived early and wish to take a siesta in the early afternoon or you have booked a late afternoon or evening flight. As the owners of this apartment we are committed to ensure your time with us is as free from snags as possible but if they do arise then we shall do our best to take the shortest possible time to fix. About the neighbourhood
This neighbourhood is probably one of the most favourable in Nerja. Why is this so? Well the apartment block may be one of the more senior but it is located facing the sun so our terrace which spans the width of the apartment has sun from sunrise to sunset. Our apartment was refurbished just a few years ago and also extended. it has no buildings behind or infront and is semi detached being at the far end. The situation is perfect for just walking to Burriana Beach, the centre of town, the two supermarkets (Mercadona and Supersol) and the local bus station. Edificio is also famous for it's gardens and beautiful surroundings. The President of the eEdificio who lives immediately above our apartment and his wife are both keen gardeners.
Getting around
A car is not a 'must' when renting this apartment. Howeverr if you do have a car then there are limited car parking spaces in front of the Edificio and in the road. There is also a dedicated car parking zone behind the swimming pool. If you do not have a car then there is no problem as we can provide help with booking our regular local taxi driver team (Miguel or his son Javier) to assist you from and to the airport anbd eing centrally situated there is a short comfortable walk to the beach and the centre of town.

Ferry: Malaga: 55.0 km
Normally our guests arrive to Nerja by air using Malaga airport which is about a 45 minute drive along the new motorway in the direction of Motril. Before this motorway was built visitors to Nerja had to take the full coastal road which took many hours. Our guests from France and Germany have arrived to Nerja using their own cars and taking the motorways via Madrid or Barcelona. In fact the motorways of Spain have much improved over the years making Nerja easily accessible by car by Spaniards from the north and in particular for those from Madrid. Some of our visitors have also arrived taking a cruiseliner which has stopped in Malaga and we have arranged collection from the portside there.
