This comfortable two-bedroom, two-bath escape has a large, modern kitchen with a dining table for six near the front window, as well as a bar with three stools. Rich dark granite was selected for kitchen and bathroom countertops, and kitchen appliances are stainless steel. Cabinets are hardwood, and the entire home has beautiful wood floors. A washer and dryer are available in a closed area near the kitchen. The cozy living room has a welcoming fireplace with a granite hearth, which matches the other granite in the home. A large, flat-screen TV, Internet, many DVD movies, and a cabinet full of games provide pleasant indoor entertainment. Furniture includes a sofa (with hide-a-bed) as well as an over-stuffed easy chair and large coffee table. A deck with a BBQ grill and table with four chairs adjoins the living room and extends the entertainment area. Breakfast and coffee will certainly be enjoyed here. Behind the deck is a short walk through the lush green landscape, passing a large swing suspended from the trees. The trees are a mix of evergreen and deciduous, creating an especially stunning display of color in the fall. A short and easy walk leads to a path going directly down to the creek.
*** Note that this is a very small community that is wedged between Oak Creek and canyon walls. The roads are narrow and we only have parking for 2 vehicles (sorry but we do not have room for trailers or additional vehicles).***More
We have had great luck with dogs so long as you can do the following: clean up 100% of their waste, keep from climbing on furniture and beds due to shedding, control barking, use leash at all times and kennel them if you leave.

I am available for any questions and concerns that you have prior to and during your stay. I prefer a hands-off approach so I won't infringe on your getaway.
My wife and I arrived at Brian's rental Friday afternoon for a week stay. Brian's 2 bedroom, 2 bath home is in great condition. The location is perfect for us because it's secluded. The kitchen & living room area are nice and spacious as are...More
We spent 5 nights in Brian’s warm & cozy beautiful Oak Creek Canyon cottage over Christmas. We had everything we could possibly have needed. Great kitchen, well appointed for cooking meals. Brian even provided a snack basket for movie watching munchies. Beds were very comfortable....More
The location in Oak Creek Canyon was amazing! You’re a little out of town here but I felt it was perfect. Nestled in the woods this gem is full of character and charm. My grandchildren LOVED the swing and creek access. I have never stayed...More

Our neighborhood has been described as 'Hobbitville' - you will cross Oak Creek and then enter our subdivision. The cottage is surrounded by large canyon walls on the east and west and also mature trees. A very serene setting for relaxation and escape.
How to get there
From NORTH: Heading south on Highway 89, you will be at the base of the “switchbacks” and go over Pumphouse Wash Bridge, start to watch for mile markers. You will see a campground on the right so you are getting closer. The entrance for PINE FLATS subdivision is ½ mile south of Mile Marker 387. Turn right into Pine Flats on Bear Howard Drive, go across the bridge and then turn left (south) on Harding Drive. Harding Drive will intersect Banjo Bill. Look on your left for 520 S. Banjo Bill Drive.
From SOUTH: Heading north on Highway 89, from uptown Sedona, watch the mile markers and look for Mile Marker 386. The entrance for PINE FLATS subdivision is ½ mile north of Mile Marker 386.
