Built by the cowboy owner of the property in the seventies, the facilities are clean and comfortable. If you just can't bear to be away from your favorite TV show, satellite TV is even available. But, chances are you won't have time to watch much TV! The property borders on BLM land that is known as Cochise Stronghold, the final resting place of the famed Apache chief. You can hike all over the Stronghold area, right from the rear of the property, and if you prefer can even stay overnight at the Stronghold campground, in the off-fire season. If you are more of a cowboy than an Indian, Tombstone (yes, THE Tombstone AZ) is just 30-some miles away. In tourist season, the citizens of Tombstone dress the part and put on events for the visitors. There won't be a dull moment. After taking advantage of these attractions/activities you can take a leisurely drive across the valley to the Chihuahua National Monument ( http://www.nps.gov/chir/index.htm ). There you can discover even more about...
