About the neighbourhood
LOCATION Manuel Antonio is located near the colorful port city of Quepos, Costa Rica. It's a 2 1/4 hour drive or a 15-20 minute plane/helicopter flight from San Jose, the nation's capital. The villa is a 6-minute walk to the pristine Golden sand beach at Espadilla and a 15-minute walk along the beach to downtown Manuel Antonio (Rated as one of the Top 12 National Parks in the world by Forbes and Rated within the top 20 Best Beaches in the world ) AMAZING WILDLIFE There is beautiful Flora that surrounds the Villa and Manuel Antonio as well as exotic wildlife such as Howler Monkeys, White Faced Monkeys, Squirrel Monkeys, Two and three-toed sloths, amazing parrots, two Species of toucans iridescent turquoise Blue Morpho butterflies.
Getting around
GETTING AROUND: Manuel Antonio is truly a quaint town, we don't usually recommend Rental Cars as it's such an intimate town you can use one of the many transportation options. The Public Bus runs from the Manuel Antonio National Park and Quepos (The main road of MA) every 30 minutes, but taxies are economic and fast the most common way to get around Manuel Antonio. For Longer excursions just let Olivier know, he can hire vans or coasters for day trips to the local waterfalls or nearby beaches!
