Auks farm in Soreng Darjeeling is a tribute to the black and white flightless bird 'The Great Auk' that became extinct in the mid 19th century by human cruelty and carelessness. Only by learning the story, can we learn how and why species become extinct. Its is an ideal location to relax and unwind. Sit and watch the clouds roll over the mountains. Go angling on the riverside or take a leisurely walk along the local forests. Our natural eco friendly cabins and tents are cozy, comfortable and quiet. You are also welcome to try a hand at our Organic farm! Guests will be able to stroll around the farm to enjoy our dining and recreation area and use the kitchen if they prefer cooking their own meals.
