The 'HikkaVilla' is a five AC bedroom self catering private and peaceful family holiday villa located in Hikkaduwa Sri Lanka. This villa has a private swimming pool (with built in jacuzzi) & kids pool. This villa is ideal for family or group of holiday makers. We provide arrival to departure service including airport transfers, tours and excursions with professional and licences guiding service.
Renter must pay for electricity as per total usage upon check out.

Magical memories made at Hikka Villa
This is the second time we have stayed at Hikka Villa. We absolutely love it! The villa is well equipped and very comfortable - everyone has there own room and ensuit which makes it a great stay! We have young children and also took the grandparents this time and all had a super time! The pool is great and has a baby pool so everyone can relax and enjoy the facilities. BUT What makes this villa rudely amazing is the staff - everyone cannot do enough for you from Lal the chef who cooks the most amazing breakfasts fit for a king to start the day (we didn't have dinners but he would have been more than happy to do this for us as well and I have no doubt they would have been great!) he was also so lovely with our children , showing them how to open coconuts they had found and teaching them all about them. He is such a wonderful and gentle man. Then you have your own mini bus and drivers who are very calm and safe to take you around on all your trips and accommodate any stops along the way you wish. Chanaka organised many magical trips for us making it a truely special trip - always turning up on time and trips going smoothly. The cleaning team came in many times during our stay and took extra care and time making our rooms tidy and extra special by placing towels and flowers individually and personally for each member of our group , really observing our needs - it just made everything so special. I cannot express enough how lovely the people of Hikka Villa are and how wonderful it has made our stay once again - we cannot wait to return !!! Thank you so much !

More than adequate
This is a lovely property that needs a little updating in places. The pool is a good size and also has a kiddies area, the house is set back from the main road of Hikkaduwa so away from the noise. We moved some of the outdoor seating up to the upstairs balcony which was nicer to sit outside than the downstairs giving us a view of the gardens and many fireworks that Sri Lankans seem to love. We had a couple of issues at the house but these were dealt with promptly by the owners who were extremely apologetic and we felt looked after. We had Lal cook for us and he did well on his own to cater for six adults and four children, we stayed over the Christmas and the owners came and put up a tree which the little ones loved.
Overall a good stay.

Hikkaduwa holidays – One of the liveliest of the south coast holdays in Sri Lanka
Hikkaduwa is located approx 100km south of the countrys capital, Colombo. The area is well-known for its coral sanctuary and the proximity of wonderful scuba diving sites to explore. With its unique beach culture, Hikkaduwa has long been the most popular diving and surfing area in Sri Lanka. In the centre of Hikkaduwa, a lagoon also creates a beautiful and safe snorkelling area. Further south, where the currents are stronger, surfing is the dominant water activity. The impressive coral reef runs just offshore and is populated by exotic fish and sea turtles that come ashore on this beach to lay their eggs.
House
The house is located in a quite neighborhood and approximately 700 meters to the sea and 30 meters to Hikkaduwa river. Approx 1.5km from main beach / tourist area and has a private large swimming pool (separate kids pool) and large garden for relaxing.
This is a fully furnished guest house which can be highly recommended for families with childrens.
Ground Floor:
Massive veranda, Massive sitting hall, large dining area, two bathrooms, kitchen and three air conditioned bed rooms.
First Floor:
Two air conditioned large Bedrooms, two bath rooms, a sitting hall and a balcony.
Facilities:
This is a fully furnished hiliday villa which has 5 Air conditioned bed rooms and private swimming pool & Kids pool ideal for group of holiday makers and families. Free 24/7 high speed ADSL WiFi internet connection, Satellite TV channels. (Please note that main sitting hall, dining area, TV lounge and kitchen has no air conditions. However these areas has pedestal fans and well ventilated through indoor garden)

Things to Do while you are in Hikkaduwa
Beach
Hikkaduwas beach is a heaven for sun-seekers and is one of the most popular in Sri Lanka, with its idyllic white sands and swaying palms, lively beach bars and colourful coral reefs.
Surfing
The resort is a major surfing centre, and attracts many to its shores, thanks to the reliable surf seen here, especially during the main season from November to April.
Diving
The waters around Hikkaduwa offer exceptional conditions for diving and snorkelling, and boast a stunning coral reef close to the shore and an excellent range of subtropical fish. There are PADI centres here, and divers can head out to explore the reef and the famous shipwrecks located off the coast.
Water Sports
As well as diving and surfing, Hikkaduwa and the neighbouring beach at Bentota to offer banana boat rides, windsurfing, jet-skiing, wakeboarding and waterskiing.
Boat Trips
Glass-bottomed boats run up and down the coastline, and offer great views of the coral reef here, whilst deep-sea fishing is are also available, as are whale-watching trips. Inland, there are boat trips through the mangrove forests available.
Bikes & Scooter Rides
Many shops in Hikkaduwa has facilities for bike and scooter rental - a great way to get out and see the area and its surroundings. More adventurous visitors can head out to explore the nearby forests and the thick jungle terrain, full of local flora and fauna.
Ayurvedic Treatments
A holiday in Hikkaduwa offers a range of ayurvedic services, including massages, herbal baths and facials, and the various health spas, centres and hotels can create tailor-made treatment plans for visitors.
Trips & Excursions
Trips to take include the Galagoda Temple, with its stunning hilltop views, and the local Hikkaduwa Lake, home to a range of interesting birdlife and a fresh-water fishing site. The UNESCO World Heritage Site of Galle is an interesting trip, with its 17th century Dutch FORT and Intl cricket ground, as is the Kosgoda Turtle Conservation Project, the Yala National Park and the Kottowa Rainforest.
