Located at a 4min walk to the Nilton Santos Olympic stadium (also known as the João Havelange 'Engenhão' stadium), the apartment is on the forth floor of a building with no elevator and three flights of stairs. The apartment has two bedrooms each with its own AC unit, one bathroom (with gas water heater for shower), a fully equipped kitchen, a washer and a hanging clothesline. About the neighbourhood
Abolição is a middle-to-lower class neighborhood in the north area of Rio (Zona Norte), with restaurants, supermarkets, and stores nearby. There are also two big malls in the area, the Norte Shopping (5min away) and the Nova America (10min away). It has a peaceful and popular feel, which is local 'carioca' culture different from the mainstream.

TAXI: Tell taxi to take Linha Amarela highway until Saída 4 (Exit 4). Then take Dom Helder Camara Avenue to the left, then a second right on the street Rua Mario Carpenter. After descending downhill, look for the street Rua Geraldo Rodrigues, there look on the left-hand side for the sign 'Bloco 38', that's the main building entrance.
BUS: If you know how to get around on your own, you can take the 915 to Bomsucesso on the departures floor at the airport. On the final and last stop, you go through the Bomsucesso train station to get to the Rua Uranos side of the station.
