Holiday Rental House
This back house is a converted artist's workshop situated in the shade of a giant Post Oak. Windows and glass doors look out into a shaded back yard with dappled light and an outdoor patio. The interior has a modest but full equipped kitchen with a queen sized bed located at the opposite end of the space. The sleeping area is separated from the living space by a large stained glass window that originally graced a Dallas bank. The space is quiet and secluded. This is a more intimate living space and best suited for people who will be comfortable going about their daily routines in close proximity to each other. Most likely we won't see you while you are staying the the back house but we are always accessible if you have any questions. Central East Austin is a diverse and eclectic neighborhood that is just a few minutes from downtown and yet still quiet. It is the kind of neighborhood where you feel like you are somewhere particular, somewhere that is specific to a place. In addition to being the location of some of Austin's best restaurants and music venues, it also has important history to explore. This lot features a front house and a back house (all yours). Please make yourself at home in the area under the Oak surrounding the back house but we ask that you give some privacy to the back yard immediately surrounding the front house. Thank you! This is secluded and quiet studio sanctuary ideal for recharging after exploring Austin's vibrant offerings. The living are features a feather stuffed Restoration Hardware Cloud sofa and the bed is a queen sized Tempurpedic with a plush lambs wool topper. Bordering the living space is a long built in standing height desk looking out onto the back yard. There is access to fiber internet (wireless or wired). The light filled kitchen kitchen has a 4 burner gas stove and the implements you will need to cook any standard fare. City of Austin Operating License # 096563 There is plenty of street parking with no permitting or street cleaning concerns. The closest B-Cycle station is a 15 minute walk away at Victory Grill on 11th St. Many of the 6th St restaurants and bars are a 10 minute walk as well. If you would prefer not to walk, there are a selection of ride share services such as RideAustin (our favorite), Lyft, or Uber. Additional amenities: Full KitchenMore
