If you're looking to experience what Austin is about, this is it. Our house was recently remodeled and has a large yard and covered patio for relaxing. It's only a 10 minute walk to Metrorail that goes directly into downtown Austin or a 15 minute drive into downtown. Very close to a lot of the new local restaurants and pubs. Centrally located, charming, and clean. Beautiful back yard with relaxing covered deck furnished with dining table and patio sectional couch. Fenced in chicken coop and close to public transportation. Less than 10 min walk to Metro Rail. 15 minutes to airport and 10 min to downtown Great cafe's and restaurants within a few minutes drive, close to public transportation and grocery. In addition to the entire house and outdoor deck, Highland Neighborhood park is 3 blocks down the street with several baseball/kickball fields. If you need recommendations, we'll be available to provide them otherwise you'll have complete privacy. We'll provide you with a door code before you arrive, so you'll have super quick and easy access to the house. Great cafe's and restaurants within a few minutes drive, close to public transportation and grocery. Getting around is quick and easy. The house is situated between major access highways: I-35 (east) and 183 (north) as well as major local road Lamar, with great food and shopping all around. No car, no problem, the train (MetroRail 550) is 1 mile away, and an express bus stop (MetroRapid 801) is less than 1/2 mile away. Also, Fasten and Fare (local ride share companies) have excellent service and super cheap fares in this area. Downtown Austin is just 5 miles down the road. Try Royal Jelly for a pub within walking distance. Black Star Co-op is great for dinner/drinks and close by at the Crestview station. 1) No loud noises after 10PM per city ordinance. 2) Additional day guests are $40/person/day. 3) The cleaning that you pay for is to clean the home prior to your stay. If you do not pick up after yourself sufficiently when you check out, you may be charged an additional cleaning fee - price depends on how long it takes to clean up after you. We don't expect you to scrub the home, but simply pick up your trash and put everything where you found it. 4) We have chickens that live on our property. Our neighbor, Victor, comes 2 times a day to collect eggs and feed our hens: 6:15-6:30AM and 4-5PM. If you see him walking through our backyard, say HELLO! 5) Take off muddy shoes before entering.
