Apsara is a newly built holiday apartment situated in Flic en Flac, Mauritius. Within 4 minutes walk to the sandy beaches.<BR>Convenient for a relaxing beach holiday and for visiting places of interest. <BR><BR>Located on the first floor. Air conditioned with full security, electronic safe and fire alarm. The apartment is spacious, modern and fitted to European standard. Open plan, the kitchen is fully equipped and the lounge has a TV with internet plus a balcony. A roof terrace is available for private sunbathing, perhaps a BBQ with some wine, enjoying the amazing mountain views.<BR>A sofa bed in the lounge means 5 people can be accomodated.<BR><BR>Essential amenities nearby. Free Airport transfers. Car Hire service available at reasonable rates.<BR><BR>

Hygiene mangelhaft
So ganz kann ich die vielen positiven Bewertungen dieser Unterkunft nicht verstehen. Wir hatten hier eine zweiwöchigen Aufenthalt gebucht . Das erste was mich schockierte war die "Aussicht" vom Balkon auf eine vermüllte Baustelle und eine riesigen Funkturm. Leider war auch das Appartement (wir waren im blauen Appartement) sehr dreckig. Vor allem in der Dusche gab es einen massiven Schimmelbefall. Auch die Umgebung ist sehr laut, vor allem wegen mehrerer Baustellen in der Nähe und ständigem Hundegebell.

I am very sorry that you have not given us a good rating for cleanliness. I think there is a misunderstanding as regards to cleaning the apartment when in use. We clean the apartment thoroughly before we handover the apartment to new guests and it's the responsibility of the guest to keep the apartment clean during their stay. We do provide a cleaning service which is chargeable if guests are willing to pay extra for this service. I shall have to make this clear to all our new guests in the future.
We hope that this hasn't put you off booking Apsara in the future.

Gorgeous Apartment and a very pleasant stay
I booked this apartment for my honeymoon in Mauritius because I wanted to see Mauritius from a local perspective. Booking this apartment turned out to be the second best decision after choosing Mauritius as my honeymoon destination.
The apartment was immaculate when we (me and my partner) checked in. Raj (the owner) was very thoughtful in keeping the apartment equipped with basic things just to let us settle in from a long flight keeping in mind it was HOT!!! at that time of the year. The air conditioning worked beautifully throughout our stay, no breakdown whatsoever considering how hot it was outside. The apartment is designed to modern UK standards with a fully equipped kitchen. Raj has designed it looking into minute details.
The bedrooms are very decent sized with lots of towels at your disposal in the wardrobe. The toilet/shower room has a shower cubicle with a washing machine to do your laundry. Hot water always flows through those taps. There is also a small safe in the laundry area to keep your valuables if you do not wish to carry them with you outside.
In terms of security, there an intruder alarm which you can make use of although we didn't use it. The neighbourhood consists of a lot families to make you feel comfortable. We were out till 1:00 am few nights on foot and felt quiet safe. Having said that, you always have to be careful and take caution, there are bad elements where ever in the world you go.
The location of the apartment was the highlight of our trip. It is literally 5 mins walk away from the longest and one of the best beaches in Mauritius. It is central to all the tourist places in the North and the South. I would highly suggest to hire a car to travel in Mauritius, it is so convenient and efficient. It is quiet economical too.
Last, but not the least, the host Raj. From the time he came to pick us up from the airport, interaction with him has been exceptional. He was very helpful and determined to make our stay comfortable and our experience a very pleasant one. He suggested us places to see, helped us hire a car, he even took us out in his own car for sight seeing one day. I could not ask for a better host than Raj.
Thanks Raj!!! Keep being an excellent host. I will definitely see you when I come to Mauritius next :-)
If you are going to Mauritius, I would recommend a few things:
1) Stay in the West preferably Flic en Flac
2) If you choose to stay in Flic en Flac, opt to stay in Apsara Luxury apartments without having any doubts.
3) Hire a Car to see places. Raj will help you with the best rates to hire a car.

Apartment more beautiful than photos, spotlessly clean and close to beach
This apartment was high standard. Had air conditioning, which was an essential as weather very hot, Kitchen well equipped and had everything needed for our stay. Extra little touches like coffee, milk, cold drinks, snacks and fruit on arrival meant after long journey, very appreciated. Picked up at airport on arrival as well as taken to airport for departure. Owner very friendly and helpful. Family of owner also very friendly and took us round the tourist areas, gave us valuable advice and lots of history on the country. I would thoroughly recommend this apartment.

Tolles neues Appartement, sehr empfehlenswert
Wir haben einen super tollen vier wöchigen Urlaub auf Mauritius verbracht. Alles war wie beschrieben. Neue Ferienwohnung mit allem Komfort. Wir wurden schon bereits am Flughafen sehr nett von Raj unserem Vermieter im Empfang genommen.Nach einer cirka 50 Minuten Autofahrt waren wir im Appartement. Da Raj zum selben Zeitpunkt direkt neben uns gewohnt hat, war er jederzeit mit seinen tollen Tips und Ratschlägen für uns Ansprechpartner. Er war stets bemüht um uns, sodaß wir einen relaxen Urlaub in Flic en Flac geniessen konnten. Sogar Ausflüge mit dem Auto konnten wir mit ihm günstig buchen, selbst zum Einkaufen für Lebensmittel hat Raj sich mit uns abgesprochen, sodass wir uns gar kein eigenes Auto mieten brauchten.Gerne haben wir seine Restauranttips für günstiges Essen ausprobiert. Die vielen Restaurants in Flic en Flac sind alle fussläufig zu erreichen.Zum wunderschönen Strand von Flic en Flac geht man 5 Minuten zu Fuss. Wir hatten einen perfekten Mauritiusurlaub und können die Ferienwohnung sehr weiterempfehlen.Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.
