The Galeodan Amberjack Suite of Casa de Huespedes: Jardin de Helena (Helena’s Garden) offers spacious living/dining area and two bedrooms plus private bathroom with gas-heated water for shower and sink. Its picture windows and private balcony face west, overlooking the bay.

The Amberjack features a king size bed in one bedroom and two single beds in the other. Couches in the living area can accommodate 2 more children. It is perfect for two couples or a family with children.

There are several good restaurants within easy walking distance but the fully-equipped kitchenette allows you to be as independent as you want to be. We stock the Suite with basics like coffee, tea, milk, salt, unlimited drinking water, oil etc. plus eggs, bread, cereal and fruit for a healthy in-home breakfast

We liked this place the host Sean was super helpful and simply the best host. The location is a bit out of town but it is on the right side of town so you are close to beaches and the interesting stuff.

About the neighbourhood
Helena’s Garden is in a quiet residential neighbourhood, within easy walking distance of San Cristobal’s favourite attractions: the beach at Playa Mann; the beach at Punta Carola; the Tijeretas and the Interpretation Centre. While on the edge of town, it is still only 5 minutes’ walk from the centre and a 5 minute ride from the airport.

Ferry: Boats to other islands: 0.6 km
We are across town from the airport but that’s still less than a mile and only 5 minutes by taxi.

Like many roads around here, our street has no name. But it’s just off the street everyone calls Via Playa Mann. People tend to find direction by personal names rather than businesses. So if you need direction just ask for:

• Casa de Maria Elena Ricaurte (Maria Elena's house)
• Via Playa Mann,
• Frente Alvear dos (opposite the school: Alvear 2)

We have signs outside for Jardin de Helena (the registered name of our property) and Galeodan (the name of our agency).

The neighbourhood is new and only one other family has built here. So the street is still unpaved and the area is not yet landscaped.
