This new apartment is one of the best combinations of beautiful and comfortable interior design with ample features at a price that won’t break the bank. The layout of the apartment makes it ideal for two people or couples with the advantage of also offering a third room dedicated as a study that can also be used as a third bedroom with a comfortable sofa bed. With so many guests needing high speed Internet and a comfortable place to stay connected, the study is a unique addition to an already attractive proposition. With so many guests needing high speed Internet and a comfortable place to stay connected, the study is a unique addition to an already attractive proposition. We take a lot of pride in our interior design, but this unit is one of my favorites. Starting from the living room with its cool blue wall, large flat screen TV and beautiful designer furniture, it’s a very inviting space, filled with light from the large balcony windows. The brand new kitchen is a joy to cook and entertain in and we have created a very comfortable four person dining area. Although they are not in the photos, there are also two bar stools at the breakfast bar. I love the bedrooms. The decoration makes me just want to curl up and go to sleep. We understand that one of the most important facets of your holiday is relaxation so we have gone to great effort to make sure the mattresses are super comfortable and the tone of the room exudes peace and calm. The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and the second bedroom has it’s bathroom across the hall. Both have luxurious queen sized beds. Speaking of calm, the area this apartment is located in is very residential and a block from any major roadway, so if you’re noise sensitive, this apartment is for you. One important thing to note is that the apartment is on the 4th floor, and there is no elevator, but it’s an easy climb for any able bodied person, but if you have difficulty with stairs it may not be the best choice. Guests have full access to all the facilities of the apartment and the building. We can provide you with detailed information on what to do, where to go and the best places to eat, drink and visit. Allow us to show you what our city has in store. We are available 24/7 for any inquiries or questions you might have and the apartment contains a comprehensive guidebook with information of the details about the apartment The apartment can be cleaned on request for an additional cost. As we are a business, we charge and pay the local 19% sales tax here in Colombia. If you want to avoid paying the tax you will need to present your passport when you arrive so that we can make a copy of the ID page and the entry stamp. This proves you are a tourist, and exempt from the tax. Your concierge will ask to take a photo of these pages at check-in. Check in can be scheduled between 4 pm and 8 pm with no extra charge. After 8 pm and anytime on Sundays and Colombian official holidays, there is a check in fee of 10 USD. The location is out of the hustle and bustle of the heavily touristed areas, but don’t think you’ll be isolated. The apartment is located close to a large strip mall with plenty of convenient shops and cafes. One important thing to note is that the apartment is on the 4th floor, and there is no elevator, but it’s an easy climb for any able bodied person, but if you have difficulty with stairs it may not be the best choice. In short, this is a unit for the traveler who loves to be close to all the attractions of Medellin, without being right on top of the action and all the noise. It’s a quiet getaway with high speed Internet for the working holiday visitor and one of our personal favorite apartments. You will live like a local, feel like a local and immerse yourself in all that the city has to offer. You’ll be recommending this apartment to your friends, or, keeping it a secret for your next visit! Poblado is the tourist center of Medellin with all the best nightlife, shopping and facilities for the visitor. Some of the most popular areas include Parque Lleras, and the Zona Rosa along with the main avenue that has some of the biggest and best shopping centers including San Fernando Plaza, Oviedo Mall and Santa Fe. The apartment is within walking distance to almost everything you'll want to do while you're here and for the other locations, taxi's are easy to call and are metered so you don't have to worry about overpaying. The metro station is a 20 minute walk down the hill.More
