Casa von Bruckenthal is the 600 years old Palace of the von Bruckenthal family the Barron who rulled as Governor over all of Transylvania in 1777 nominated by Empress Maria Teresa from Wien,Austria. It is in the exact center of Sibiu(Hermanstadt) in Piazza Grande opposite the world famous Bruckenthal Museum,the City Hall the Catholic and Evangelical Cathedrals and the famous Liars Bridge 1858 and the Small Piazza.St Andrews Scottish Pub , Pharmacy,Police Station and Billa supermarket are across the street.
