Holiday Rental House -
2 Bedrooms , 1 Bathroom , Sleeps 5
Long Caye, Lighthouse Reef Atoll, Belize Cayes
The beach house is located on a pristine, unspoiled private Eco-Island in the Caribbean Sea. Solar and generator powered. All of the amenities without all of the environmental impact.

On the veranda, you have amazing views of the Sea. Enjoy the warm wind while swinging on a hammock or relax under the 12 foot palapa hut.

Bad Kitty Beach House is the perfect place to unwind, unplug and disconnect from the 'real world' and reconnect to your mind and soul. A rare and beautiful piece of paradise.

We take 'Glamping' to the next level. Solar powered, Generator backup, gravity fed water lines which you will need to carry into the house.

Not for the faint of heart! Must have a love of solitude and adventure to stay here! We aren't for everyone, but for the right one, we are perfection!

I was very impressed with the home, the island and the view. I love how this house is arranged, airy and roomy. Snorkeling is the best around the area as well. If you are there, you do not want to miss "The Aquariam" for snorkeling....More

What a place! If you want to get away from it all with sand, sea and wildlife galore then this is the place for you. Truly magical and as much an experience as a holiday. And then there's Elvis Solis who, along with his uncle,...More

About the neighbourhood
Itza Resort has a full bar and restaurant for dining out.

Hurricane Diving has a restaurant for dining out and full charters for snorkeling and diving the local spots including The Great Blue Hole and Half Moon Caye.

King, a local resident, when on the island, is available for fishing expeditions.

Itza Resort rents kayaks and paddle boards to island guests. Highly recommend kayaking around the entire island - it will take you about 3 hours if you take your time and have average physical strength.
Car not needed
How to get there
Ferry: Princess Marina Dock: 105.0 km
You will be brought over via boat chartered by private boat captain. It is $600 us return.

The boat trip is 2 hours long. You will go through the Marina, through the Turneffe Atoll and mangroves, then onto open ocean before arriving to our island inside the Worlds Largest Living Coral Reef System. (Yes, bigger than the Great Barrier Reef - as ours is still ALIVE :-)

The trip is not for the faint of heart and not recommended to people with back and neck problems. Some days it is smooth as silk, other days it's bumpy!
