Cottage
The Lily Pad is located just 5 minutes from the main town area and 10 minutes from the popular "Split." It was completed in March 2019 so it is a brand new cottage with all the amenities. 1x (5 Gallon) jug is supplied for a 2-4 night stay OR 2x (5 Gallon) Jugs of water are supplied for a 5 night stay or longer (extra jugs are $3.50USD/each), A/C in both bedrooms and ceiling fans throughout the House. A full-size fridge and gas stove are also at your disposal. For a 3 night stay (or longer) we offer a complimentary pick-up service from the Ferry terminal to get you and your luggage to our cottage and 4 Bicycles are provided for our guests as well. There are multiple Golf cart taxi services on the Island or you can choose to rent your own Golf Cart while you are here. We hope you wil...

1) No Smoking in the house please. We allow responsible smoking outside on the patio.
2) Caye Caulker is powered by large diesel generators so In trying to conserve the Island Energy please do not run the A/C (Air Conditioning) when you leave the house for prolonged time. It doesn’t take long to cool the room(s) once you return.
3) Please do not use towels to remove makeup or wipe up spills
4) You are responsible for any damages incurred

The Lily Pad One
The LilyPad one was a really cute one bedroom apartment complete with a cosey out door deck.We really enjoyed our stay here and as well as getting to be close to the best Caye Caulker has to offer.Mike and Lilianna were perfect hosts, very personable and accommodating.Just like his owner Harley the dog was very friendly too!

Great Stay on Caye Caulker!
We really enjoyed our 2weeks at Mike and Lilian's cottage! Everything was so clean and there was no shortage of cooking and eating utensils. All the little extras they did for us was amazing!! The bikes were so handy to get around with and all the hints and helpful tips they gave made everything so much easier to figure out! It was very comfortable and having air conditioning was great to have. Definitely recommend staying here!

The BEST place to stay!!!!!!
We stayed for 4 days at the Lily Pad. It had EVERYTHING you could need, comfortable, clean, conveniently located to everything and the owners are amazingly accomadating !! They went above and beyond anything you could ever expect from a host. The Bicylces were a plus and allowed us to easily explore the island. We felt very safe there and enjoyed every moment of our stay. We will be back!! Thank you Mike, Lily & Harley :-)

Quiet, Clean, Friendly and Safe
The wedding I attended was on Cay Caulker, Belize, a tiny island about a ten-minute flight from Belize City. I was met at the airport by the golf cart taxi arranged by Mike and Lily, the owners and caretakers, and welcomed into my two-bedroom cottage. They were surprised that it was only me because there was space for four guests, but the price was right, and I liked the online pictures of the kitchen and other amenities. It was about a two-kilometer walk from most of the wedding party. I had daily exercise, and it was quiet when I needed to escape. I am not a stranger to the Caribbean, but this was my first time in Belize, and there are, of course, other hotels and motels that you can stay at during your visit to this beautiful island town, with its dirt roads and friendly people. But if you want down-home Island comfort and privacy, You won't go wrong at The Lily Pad.

A cool place to hang your hat - spacious cottage, gracious hosts
I spent my 1st night in Belize here, and what a lucky find. Newly built and well maintained cabana in the quiet part of Caye Caulker. Complete kitchen facilities, and nicely appointed. Had fun getting to know the hosts, Mike & Lily. They love being in Caye Caulker and it shows! Little doubt that I'll be back to visit the Lily Pad II.

Amazing!
Cute and cozy little spot - Wifi and laundry on site! Run by a friendly family, easy to contact. Highly recommend for families, groups of friends, couples (honestly anyone)!

Perfect island hide away!
The location was fantastic- a beautiful bike ride from town and the beach. Clean and cozy, exactly what we were looking for! Will definitely stay again!

perfect get away cottage
the location is amazing - the beach is only a bike ride away! This is a great family-friendly cottage with a working tv and WIFI. We will visit again!

Please lock them up when out and about on the Island as one replacement is $250USD if lost or stolen.

How to get there
If coming from the Philip S.W Goldson Airport in Belize City, the taxi ride to the Ferry terminal is $30 USD for 2 people and approx $60USD for 4 people and is close to 30 minute drive.. The Ferry from Belize City to Caye Caulker is 45 minutes trip time. It is usually cheaper if you buy an open-ended round trip ticket. ($36USD or $72BZD / person round trip)
