NIce cabin on Taylor River
This was our first stay at Three Rivers Resort, and we hope it won't be our last. We chose a cabin by the river and thoroughly enjoyed it. The sound of the river was very soothing and peaceful. The cabin was very clean and roomy for 2 people. I think it might be a little tight for more than 2. The bedroom itself was small, with just a little walk space around the bed, but we had no difficulty maneuvering around it. The bathroom was also small but big enough for our needs. It has a shower that might be tight for a tall person as you have to step up into it. There was also a loft upstairs that we did not use. The livingroom and kitchen area were roomy enough. We enjoyed the nice size deck every evening after being out and about during the day. It was a nice place to sit outside with friends, sharing food, drinks, conversation, and laughs, all the while enjoying the river. We ate breakfast every morning at the resort restaurant and was not disappointed. While the menu is limited, the choices are very good. The resort is in a perfect location, situated between Gunnison and Crested Butte, and the road it is on is a great scenic drive up Taylor River. Everyone we encountered was friendly. We would definitely recommend this rental.

Peace and quiet on the river's edge
We found our cabin to be a great place to just hang out. Very little noise other than the sound of the rushing waters of the Taylor River. The cabin was clean, well stocked and very comfortable. We didn't use the loft beds but for a small family they would be perfect. We needed a fan in the bedroom at night, ask the resort for one and got it for duration of our visit. We will return and hopefully with our family but use 2-3 cabins.

Three Rivers Rocks!!!
I recently stayed at the Three Rivers Resort in Almont, Colorado - Unit #62. Not only was it comfortable and clean, it included a beautiful view of the river. The river was running a bit higher than normal but it was still wonderful to listen to it and sit on the patio and watch it. The unit was roomy with enough room for up to six (6) people if you wanted to. The loft would be more comfortable for children but a smaller adult could sleep up there comfortably. It was located between Gunnison and Crested Butte and definitely an easy drive up to Taylor Lake. The staff was friendly and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a fun get away.

I have stayed at 3 Rivers Resort many times and have never been disappointed. The staff is pleasant and very helpful. The fly shop manager Dennis is a huge improvement from the past. You can't go wrong!

Cool and Comfortable
My husband and I spent a delightful three days and nights at Three Rivers. The weather was perfect (36-60 degrees), the river just outside our window was beautiful, the cabin had everything we needed, and Mark was so helpful with suggesting hikes to take, placees to eat, etc. We would definitely return, particularly in September.

Great time at Three Rivers Resort!
My wife and I, my son and his wife and my daughter just spent 5 nights at Three Rivers Resort. This was our third stay, and we were not disappointed. The Taylor River area is beautiful, and the accomodations and service at Three Rivers made our trip fantastic. We stayed in one of the units right on the river. It was clean, comfortable, and had that great sound of the river as it flowed toward Gunnison. The resort has a nice store for essentials as well as clothing. It also has a great cafe that serves until 9 p.m. if you are too tired to cook. Friendly service, great cabins, and the beautiful surroundings make Three Rivers Resort a "10" in our book.

Perfect location, cabin was well-equipped.
We loved the view of the Taylor River and the surrounding mountains. The cabin was clean, and had everything we needed for our 6 night stay. The staff at the office were great! They might want or consider chopping down the pine tree that covered part of the river view from the covered porch, but it was a lovely place to sit and enjoy the sound of the river.

Cabin 62 - Shaum December 27-29
Mark was super helpful. Did a great job with us. We have stayed with you several times. First time in 62. It was great for the fam - clean, etc. However...the entry had not been shoveled when we arrived which had us tracking lots of snow in with all our gear. There is a broken dresser drawer in the main bedroom (bottom drawer) and it was just laying on the floor when we arrived. We will be back this coming summer.

Cabin 62 Review
loved the cozy cabin, and being right by the river was fantastic. Had all the things we needed. Thank you for letting us keep our dogs there, it was really tough to find places that would accomidate us. Only thing I would suggest is maybe having a closing gate at each entry of the patio area. Mainly for safety for kids and for me personally would be able to have the pets on the patio, and keep them confined to that area while we enjoyed the outdoors also. Thank you again for a great stay, and I plan on coming back again!
