The spacious apartment (70 sq. m) on the 1st floor is newly renovated and furnished, located in a 200 year old building with high ceilings, overlooking the Central Market.

All the main city attractions are within walking distance (Dragon Bridge, Old Town, Triple Bridge, Prešeren Square, Ljubljana Castle, museums). Many restaurants and cafes & bars nearby, a supermarket is 250m away.

The apartment consists of a doorway, bathroom with shower, study (which also acts as a second bedroom), kitchen, living area with a dining space and a master bedroom.

A parking space can be arranged for you to use in a nearby public garage (300 m away) for an additional fee.

I usually always welcome my guests on arrival, show them around, give them a couple of tips and am available for more questions about getting around and what to see then. I will be available to assist you in person at the house most of the time (at least during the day on workdays as I work at the house); if not, contact me by phone or e-mail. In case of an urgent matter, my parents or I will mostly be available for assistance at home, one floor above the apartment.

About the neighbourhood
The apartment is situated right under the castle hill at the edge of the pedestrian zone and in front of the Central Market.
All the main city attractions are within walking distance (2 minutes: Dragon Bridge, Old Town, Triple Bridge, Funicular to the Castle - 20 minutes: Tivoli Park, museums, Plečnik's house, Botanical garden...), so are restaurants, cafés and bars (around the corner). A well-stocked supermarket is located 250 m from the property.
Getting around
Because of the apartment's location, you can see most of the sights on foot.
If you're not too much of a walking type, but like to use a bicycle, you can rent a bike at the corner of the Market at the Tourist Information Centre or use BicikeLJ (city-bike rental).
City bus stations (LPP) are conveniently on the road around the corner and can take you to shopping centres or the ZOO. You need an URBANA card to ride a bus though.

If you would like to see other Slovenia's attractions such as Bled & Bohinj Lake or Postojna Caves, you can travel there by bus or train, rent a car or join scheduled tours at the Tourist Information Centre.

Airport: Letališče Jožeta Pučnika / Brnik: 25.0 km
Railway: Železniška postaja Ljubljana: 1.0 km
AIRPORT: it's located 25 km away from the apartment, so the easiest way to get here is by taxi. A ride costs between 20-25 €. An option is also a bus which leaves the airport every full hour until 8 PM.

BUS & TRAIN STATION: wether you are travelling by bus or train, you will get off the vehicle at practically the same place. The stations are located 1 km from the apartment, so you can take a 15-20 min (straight) walk to get here. An option is also taxi for around 3 € or the city bus for 1,20 € per person with an URBANA card.

CAR: the apartment is still outside the pedestrian zone so you are able to drive the car all the way to the entrance to unload your luggage. Unfortunately no parking is allowed here, so you need to move the car and park somewhere else. For your convenience, w...
