Around 250 sea level meter, surrounded by century-old trees and vineyards, it is a typical farmhouse nestled in the Chianti hills within a 30-kms radius of Florence, Siena and Arezzo in a vast natural garden.
The villa was built more than 200 years ago; the restoration has kept the spirit of the territory, respecting the original architecture.
The villa is in the middle of a propriety land and has a personal style, a private garden and summer dependance useful for outside dinners.

The walls, made with the local stones, keep it cool in the summer sun and not to cold in winter time, nevertheless, in that season great open fireplaces offer warmth and comfort during the cooler months.

Villa Verde is located in Tuscany on the left side of the Arno river in the Chianti hills.

4 km from one of the best Romanich Church: Pieve di Gropina also reachable by foot over a nice and country path.

5 km from the A1 (highway) Valdarno exit.
6 km to Montevarchi; this is the main town of the Arno Valley; there it's possible to find a large shopping area, excellent shopping outlet of Prada, Gucci, Armani, Dolce e Gabbana factory shop, restaurants, tennis courts a regular train service to Florence, Arezzo (and every main Italian cities), taxi , car rental, chemist's, hospital, indoor-outdoor swimming pool

Staying in Villa Verde, you can also participate to the various seasonally country works like the grapes-picking at the end of September to make wine, the olives- picking or make a visit to the local oil-mill to taste our just made extra-virgin olive oil in October and November.
1st of May in La Penna take place the “sagra del fagiolo zolfino”; fair for one of the most famous and ancient type of bean.
Last week of September in Terranuova B.ni take place the most important valley exposition with typical products, animals, etc.

Nous avons été très déçus par notre séjour à Villa Verde. La maison n’est pas du tout confortable ni accueillante. Certains lits sont tellement antiques qu’il est impossible de dormir dessus - nous avons dû mettre des matelas par terre afin de pouvoir dormir à peu près correctement…- ; certains lits sont des canapés lits datant au mieux des années 1980 ; la cuisine est très mal équipée - four défectueux ; machine à café à filtre également ; peu d’ustensiles pour cuisiner; pas de bol pour le petit déjeuner ; rien pour laver la salade…- les tables pour manger à l’extérieur sont en piteux état - tables et bancs de collectivité -; les sièges en osier sont tous cassés, les coussins sont vieux et sales ; la piscine en elle-même est petite - c’est une piscine hors sol enterrée max 1,40 m de profondeur - les coussins des transats sont vieux et ont l’air sale ; il y a avait un nid de guêpes si bien qu’il était impossible de se détendre au bord de la piscine. Les parasols minuscules ne font pas assez d’ombre. Cela nous a donné l’impression d’une maison mal entretenue et, en regard du prix de la location, les prestations ne sont pas du tout à la hauteur. Enfin, il y a une meute de chien à proximité qui aboie une partie de la nuit.
Face à nos demandes le propriétaire s’est montré réactif - il nous a amené des ventilateurs et quelques ustensiles de cuisine - mais ne voyait pas de problème à ce que nous dormions sur des lits « vintage ».
Enfin, les environs n’ont aucun intérêt : ce n’est pas du tout situé dans le Chianti
