Perfect position for perfect holiday.
In need of some R & R we came across Deja Vu and from the minute we stepped through the door we were not disappointed and it felt like home. From the first phone call from Robbie, to our leaving (thanks Bron) we had a fabulicious time and hope to return. From our perspective, the property is ideally located in Palm Cove - while it is not on the main beachfront, it is a five minute walk from everything you need and when you are in the house or garden, privacy is maintained. Far better than a cramped apartment or hotel room for similar prices.

Beautiful home and fantastic pool!
Deja vu is a lovely home in a great location so close to the beachfront in Palm cove. Robbie was very organised and the manager met us on site when we arrived. The bed was comfortable and the pool was the best we've stayed in an immaculately clean. The kitchen had every amenity necessary for cooking if you feel like cooking but many of the restaurants down the road are excellent and seafood isn't expensive. Robbie was very helpful with suggestions for places to eat and also when we had to leave early for a family crisis but we enjoyed our stay immensely and we are looking forward to coming again. The aircon in the main bedroom had a bit of a vibration only at night, but we fixed that with some adjustment. The only thing we would've liked would have been perhaps some dvd's or books for the evenings. We would stay again however and we are planning our next holiday.

Wonderful Stay
We stayed at Deja Vu in early January 2016 and loved our stay there. What struck us upon arrival is how well equipped the property was and how is was thoughtfully prepared for guests. Our teens were slightly disappointed to find no internet/WiFi in the property. But most of the restaurants on the Esplanade had free WiFi, which allowed them to stay connected to us at Deja Vu. So it worked out. We have stayed at rental properties on several continents and believe this was the best equipped and best maintained we have visited. My congratulations to Robbie and Bron for their coordination on preparation. One slight drawback of Palm Cove and the Cairns area is the presence of stingers during this time of year. Deja Vu helps with this with its lovely pool and great area to relax near it. We loved how things were set up so guests did not have questions. There were instructions on the washer/dryer, trash cans/bins, and other features. Also, the ice machine built into the refrigerator dispenses great crushed ice, which was a luxury for folks from the developing world.
For folks using this review for reference perhaps it would be good to Google the property to get Robbie's contact and additional information prior to sending a booking request. He may be able to answer questions prior to booking, which can be helpful to make sure the property is the right choice for you.

Let me start by saying a big "Thank you to Bron" for the lovely arrival gift and help through out and a and a special thanks to the team for the immaculate presentation of this beautiful home.
To Robbie and family thank you so much for enabling our group of four the most enjoyable relaxing and memorable holiday in spectacular Palm Cove.
The ambiance you have created here at Deja Vu is a credit to you and all involved.
Its the attention to detail that makes it feel like a home away from home. Although we would love to keep this our little secret, it is impossible not to share.

Winter Escape
From the get go, Robbie and Don were very helpful with our booking and all sorts of advice and tips to make our stay very enjoyable. Great communication. The house was very well equipped and everything was catered for. A very enjoyable stay and we would love to return.

FANTASTIC !!

Fantastic
What a great holiday experience. From our first meeting with Bronwyn at the house to closing of the door on the last day of our stay.
Bronwyn was a great greeting, tour, putting easter eggs, champagne in the fridge.
The house, what a great choice was made it has it all and is top notch. The kids loved it, especially the pool.
Great location, nice walk to the beach and town facilities
Robbie followed up with a call upon our arrival to ensure we arrived safe and all is well with the house.
From the minute we arrived to when we left we have been made so welcome and special with the way we have been treated.
We will certainly have no hesitation in recommending to one and all that are heading to the Cairns area to stay here.
Again thank you so much to Robbie and Bronwyn for their hospitality and hope to see you again.

Wonderful Stay
We spent a wonderful 8 night stay at Deja-Vu.
Very comfortable and spacious house. Has everything here to make you feel like this is your home for the stay. Great location too! We were originally planning on staying in a hotel in Port Douglas, but I’m really happy to have found this place instead. It’s a very short walk down to the beach & restaurants. It’s located on a very lovely quiet street which we very much enjoyed. We did the drive out to Port Douglas a couple of days for scuba diving. It’s not far at all and the drive is incredibly scenic. I love how Palm Cove is also close to Cairns too. So you have the best options staying here, you’re pretty much close to everything! We have so many great memories here, would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful, holiday retreat.
Not only does Déjà Vu, offer a very practical holiday home, it is equipped with everything you can possibly think of, every thing is designed for comfort from the beds, to sofas, to outdoor lounges, it is also a lovely place to relax. It has a beautiful pool that is perfect for jumping in after a day of sight seeing.
Déjà Vu is in the perfect location near to Palm Cove beach and restaurants and half way between Port Douglas and Cairns, there are so many things to do in this area, you can be busy everyday doing holiday trips, or lying on the beach or simply chilling by the pool.
Part of the charm begins with your booking with Robbie, who is welcoming and offers a wealth of knowledge. Also you are personally met by Bron, who shows you around the home, and leaves lovely touches like flowers, sparkling wine and icy poles.
There is something really special about Deja Vu that is hard to quantify, I have been telling everyone about it, I must stop or it will be fully booked when I want to return!

Amazing family holiday accommodation!
Deja Vu Palm Cove was an amazing place to stay for our family of 5, very child friendly, awesome 30 degrees heated lap pool, very clean in a top location. We highly recommend this accommodation for a family or a group of couples. We will definitely be back to Deja Vu when we return to Far North Queensland.
