Within walking distance of everything that St Kilda has to offer - the beach, St Kilda pier, Acland Street, shops, restaurants, Luna Park, trams (numbers 96, 16 and 12). Huge garden area with an in ground solar heated pool, trampoline, BBQ and eating area. Ideally suited to families (with kids), couples, business travellers and big groups.

The apartment sleeps 8 with existing bedding, and I can supply an extra two mattresses if needed. I lived in this apartment for 13 years (which is how I know how amazing it is) and now live downstairs in the only other apartment in the block. I am available to assist in any way needed, including recommendations for dining and activities, transport advice, supply of any child related or other item, but also respect visitor's privacy - so you won’t see me unless you want to.

About the neighbourhood
Just 6km from the city centre, St Kilda is Melbourne’s seaside playground, is much-loved by residents and visitors, and is renowned for it's safe sandy beach, palm-lined boardwalk, huge range of beach activities, big skies, gorgeous sunsets, parks and gardens, great restaurants, bars and cafés, fabulous old buildings, and its colourful past and present. St Kilda is home to many of Melbourne’s famous visitor attractions including Luna Park, the Esplanade Hotel, Catani Gardens, Acland St and Fitzroy St.The café society of Acland St is famous and first bloomed with the influx of cosmopolitan European migrants in the 1950s.That heritage can still be seen in the European-style cake cafes and designer shops that line the street.
Getting around
Once here, all local sights, including beach, restaurants and Luna Park are within walking distance. Bicycle is also a great way to get around. St Kilda has dedicated bike tracks along the foreshore which allows you to enjoy the sights, the food and the beach by bike, without leaving the bike track. The apartment has bikes for guests to use.
St Kilda is also connected to the rest of Melbourne by trams and buses. There are bus and tram stops a short stroll from the apartment. I can provide bus and tram maps/timetables as well as advice about the best way to reach a destination.
