We understand a good day starts the night before. Both bedrooms feature a Queen-size bed with comfortable mattress and toppers. Each bed is dressed with hotel quality linen, a combination of fluffy and firm pillows, cushions and wool quilt. Both bedrooms feature large sliding wardrobes with full length mirrors and storage. The guest bedroom has direct access to the balcony with the stunning Yarra River view. It doesn’t get better than waking up to the Yarra River in the morning! The ensuite bedroom also features a hand-crafted timber study desk. Both bathrooms have shampoo, conditioner, body wash and fresh towels prepared for your use. Please do enjoy the generous-sized walk-in shower. A separate laundry cupboard features brand new Fisher&Paykel Washer and Dryer. A brand new iron, double-layer ironing board, powerful bagless vacuum and saloon hairdryer are also made available for your use. Blessed by its unique location, you have direct access to a 2.5-km pedestrian riverfront promenade, a 20-meter lap pool, gym and a spacious outdoor barbeque area on the podium level of the building. One free secured parking spot has also been included. Free trams stop right outside the front door meaning there is no need to leave your home until you can see the tram weaving down the street towards you on the balcony. Your safety and access The apartment has been equipped with a first-aid kit, fire extinguisher, fire blanket, carbon monoxide detector and smoke detector. The building is a secured premise, with guest-only access. You will be provided with a key and a fob; which gives access to the lift, apartment and common facilities – gym, pool, garden, bicycle rack, and the parking space. If you accidentally lock yourself out, a call-out fee will apply. - 1 secured parking spot - Lobby - Indoor 20-meter lap pool - Gym - Community garden - Bicycle rack We give guests their privacy but are available with a phone call if anything pops up. Right in the heart of the Docklands, there is a wealth of choices for dining, cafes, shopping, and entertainment. From fine dining to healthy options, the range of venues means there is something for every taste. Only a short stroll from the apartment, there is the rest of Melbourne to explore - the most liveable city in the world for 5 years in a row. Walk or catch a tram or train - there is an endless supply of music, sports, arts, and multicultural experiences waiting for you. Within the first 500 metres from home, you will find the Melbourne Star Observation Wheel, Victoria Yacht Club, Australia's largest ice skating rink, the Lego Education Centre, a waterfront public library, Docklands Park, Etihad Stadium, shopping malls on Collins Street and many other attractions for all ages. Airport Access The toll freeway runs from Melbourne International/Domestic Airport all the way to Docklands. The journey takes around 25 minutes during off-peak times. You can catch the Route 11 or 48 tram from the front of the property, or walk an easy 10 minutes to Southern Cross Station and catch a train if you want to go further afield. There are also numerous bike shares dotted around Melbourne if you want to be an active visitor! If you accidentally burn anything and set off the apartment’s internal fire alarm, be sure to open the windows and balcony door to clear the air. DO NOT OPEN THE MAIN ENTRY DOOR which will set off the building’s main fire alarm and cause the Fire Brigade to turn up, creating panic and costing thousands. Ouch!
