The Space
There is 90 square metres of comfortable, sunny space, a lounge, 2 separate bedrooms and a bathroom. LenaWay has been closed for significant renovations. Guests will now use the completely renovated bathroom, new games room and second bedroom (September 2017).
Guest Access
You have private use of the downstairs area in the photographs (apart from the laundry and games room). We will not enter the area while you are there, except on your invitation. There is a queen size bed in the main bedroom that gets lots of sunshine and has peaceful garden views. For those who have booked needing more than one bed, there is a double bed and two single beds in the newly renovated second bedroom which is spacious and completely internal. Please do not make beds before leaving so we can be sure to wash any linen used ready for our next guests...

We live in the upstairs. If we are home when you arrive we will greet you, help to make you feel comfortable and assist with any queries you might have then and throughout your stay. We have arranged the facilities so guests can be self sufficient in the event we do not meet during your stay. You will have instructions about how to let yourself in the event you arrive when we are out. There will be guest information about local services and tourist attractions, as well as maps to help you get around.

Lena Way was a great place to stay The view was lovely and the wallabies were very friendly. It was very quiet and our hosts very helpful..

Stayed for 3 nights with my elderly parents. We loved the spacious kitchen and lounge room including the 2 reclining rocker chairs. My parents said their queen size bed was very comfortable and warm. Plenty of space in the wardrobes. Good view outside their bedroom...More

About the neighbourhood
Our home is at the end of a cul-de-sac in Lenah Valley on the Hobart city fringe. We are 5 minutes (4.5 km) from the North Hobart Restaurant strip, 7 minutes (6.5 km) from the city, 8 minutes (7 km) from Salamanca and the Hobart wharf areas. The Mona Museum is 15 minutes (9 km) in the other direction. We now seem to have a Wallaby who can often be sighted in our back yard. Check out the window every so often and you may see her.
Getting around
We recommend that you have a car so you can reach our home with ease after exploring the many wonderful sites in Southern Tasmania. There is bus transport 300 metres (stop on the left coming up the hill, the bus will loop around and go back down the hill) from our home weekdays and 1 km from our home after hours (6 pm) and on weekends. We live at the top of a steep 1 km hill.

Airport: Hobart: 22.0 km
Ferry: Devonport: 325.0 km
You travel from the Brooker Highway and turn on Risdon Road towards Lenah Valley (opposite direction from the Derwent River) When you get to Lenah Valley Road, turn right, you will travel past a park then you will see a milk factory on the right as the road bends to the left. Take your first right onto Girrabong Road; a very steep hill. Travel about 900 meters ignoring all side streets until the road curves to the right near the top. You will see Mowbray Court on your left. Turn left into Mowbray Court. You go to the very end of the Mowbray Court cul-de-sac and you will see a maroon sign with the white lettering of our address 3 Mowbray Court. Stay to the left of the sign and our house is 20 metres down the drive and then to the right.
