Hobart, Greater Hobart, Tasmania
Splendid luxury at the bottom of the world - a special hide-away with the feel of a luxury, boutique hotel, without the hotel and triple the space! You can check out our reviews on Airbnb (recent reviews included at the foot of this listing).

Stay in a spacious, beautifully appointed, self-contained apartment in one of Australia’s most historic houses, formerly home to each Bishop of Tasmania for over 160 years until 2003. This review refers to stay in the 2 bedroom School House apartment (early 2015). The property is located in a quiet leafy street just around the corner from Davey St which leads into the downtown Hobart area. Within easy walking distance are groceries and restaurants. Also a little further away but not far by car is a delightful little fish...

The Bishop's quarters is a fantastic place to stay. We had 3 nights here and our experience was exceptional. The owner of the property was extremely helpful and friendly and has paid attention to every detail in setting up this lovely property. The quality was first class, with beautiful thick towels and bed quilts, extra blankets, ipad and sonos system....
