About the neighbourhood
BATTERY POINT - Hobart's village feel residential area characterised by historic buildings and coastal scenery. The popular Jackman & McRoss Bakery and Cafe make great coffee and is less than a 5 minute walk; as well as the infamous Da Angelos Italian restaurant, Thai and Indian options too. Florist, hairdresser and boutique homewares stores.
SALAMANCA is a 400m walk away and is the historic, creative and cultural hub of Hobart featuring top restaurants, bars, Saturday markets, artist studios, arts studios, theatre, supermarket stocking fresh gourmet Tasmanian produce, a wide range of stores, and access to world class events such as the Sydney to Hobart yacht race, Taste of Tasmania, MONA FOMA and launching point for the MONA ferry.
Getting around
Just about all you need and places to visit are in walking distance. If you're travelling further afield the bus interchange is a 15 minute walk.

Airport: Hobart International Airport: 19.0 km
The apartment is a 25 minute drive from the Hobart Airport ($50-60 taxi, $20 airport shuttle one way). The Redline airport shuttle bus stop is 100 metre walk at the intersection of Runnymede Street and Battery Square (opposite Lenna Hotel).

The parking space is at the rear of the building accessed off Runnymede St, directly opposite 29 Runnymede St, Battery Point - second bay from the street labelled '16'.

Free parking is also available on the street. A 2 hour limit applies 8am-6pm Monday to Friday and 9am-3pm Saturdays.
