The bathroom is made up of three rooms, a large walk-in shower room, separate toilet and a room with twin bowl bathroom vanity.
We welcome pets by agreement and there is a fully fenced section of the garden available for your exclusive use and where your pets can be safely contained.
Facilities for kids include a foldaway bed, portacot and a high chair all available by arrangement. The garden is fully fenced and secure - its a very kid-friendly environment. Please feel free to chat about any specific requirements - we're happy to help.
This fully self contained apartment is located on the ground floor of the house which has been our family home for ten years. Renovated 5 years ago this 1940's Queenslander was the original homestead when the area was just rolling hills filled with dairy cattle. Perched on the top of a hill the afternoon breezes are wonderful in what is now one of Brisbane's most sought after areas for real estate.
The prices indicated are for 2 guests. When you request a quote, we will include the following fees:
$20 per night per additional adult guest
$15 per night per additional guest under 18
$5 per night per pet (pets by arrangement - please advise us of your needs when you enquire)

Great location, lovely clean premises and helpful, friendly hostess.
We were 3 ladies exhibiting our dogs at the EKKA. The location was wonderful with only a 15 min trip into the show. The interior was perfect with open plan layout, all mod cons, newly rennovated and two spacious bedrooms with 3 separate beds. One of the best "dog friendly" places that we have stayed at, with 2 separate enclosed yards that the dogs could stretch their legs in. Thank you Kate, we'll be back next year !!!

Fantastic, Clean welcoming and wonderful stay for our family
Kate was welcoming and there was plenty of information about the property including where and how we could have our small old dog. The grassed area and small patios were fantastic, the whole accommodation was spotlessly clean the shower massive with a great washer and easy laundry arrangement. Super close to restaurants , shops and convenience store down the road, we didn't get opportunity to eat with host family but would have taken this popular and economical option had we been able to plan a bit more. Busy and stressful time for us was made easier by host family's warm and welcoming yet private arrangement. Many thanks for a delightful stay in a very large and well priced accommodation- super value thanks

This is a quiet, safe suburban area with all facilities in easy reach. There are supermarkets within 5 minutes drive and the bus stop is 200m away. It takes about 15 minutes (outside peak hour) to drive to the city or Southbank.
How to get there
There's no right turn into our street if you're travelling south so use adjacent streets to get to us. There is plenty of street parking available.
Its about 15 minutes from the airport (using the tunnels).
