Relax here - no regrets!
Our stay here was everything we thought & hoped it would be. This home is a wonderful place to stay and the owner was very accommodating. Our group consisted of two middle aged couples so we each stayed in a master suite. The description of the home is very accurate and you have everything you need there. We stopped for groceries in Progreso and it is about a 20 minute drive to the beach house. We started each morning with breakfast there. Some days were spent lounging on the beach just off the back of the house and other days we explored nearby ruin sites and cenotes. It was also fun getting out and exploring the neighboring towns and meeting local residents. We felt very safe traveling around the region and met many wonderful people each day!
We went into Progreso three times for dinner on the malecon and had wonderful (and inexpensive) meals - although you can cook at the beach house and have plenty of room to dine. We took most of our meals out on the lanai overlooking the beautiful view of the beach.
The owner stays in touch during the stay and is very accommodating - thank you Francisco and Ivette for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home and thank you for your hospitality!

Vacaciones Perfectas
Unas vacaciones perfectas en todos los sentidos.
Nuestro anfitrión, nos entrego la casa en perfectas condiciones, siempre estuvo al pendiente de nosotros e hizo que nuestras vacaciones fueran mucho más agradables.
La casa está en perfecto estado, muebles modernos y nuevos. Los paisajes son hermosos y la cercanía con muchos centros turísticos es ideal.
Sin duda logramos disfrutar de este bello estado gracias a una estancia tan placentera.

Perfect for a sunny and peaceful getaway with friends and family.
If you are looking for a calm getaway with friends or family, where you can relax on the beach right outside the terrace door, take a dip in the sea or the pool and sleep to the soothing soundtrack of the waves, this is your place to stay! It's a very clean, comfortable and sunny house, right on a long virgin beach, with only a few neighbours to share it with.
I recommend doing your grocery shopping in advance, since the nearest town and supermarkets are at least a 15minute car-ride away.
By car you can get fast to Progreso town, to Chicxulub Port for Restaurants or Bars and at the nearby Laguna Rosada you can do flamingo watching.
And the owner, Francisco is the most friendly and welcoming host, he will explain to you and help you out with anything you need.
I recommend this place for a relaxing and sunny vacation! Enjoy your stay!

Great place, great view and very comfortable.
The house was very nice and neat. You can tell the owner keeps it in great shape. He also tries his best to make your stay the most comfortable possible.

It is a rural area, <BR>On winter must of the people are Canadian or European who move to Yucatan to avoid the cold weather.<BR>On spring brake and summer vacation are the crowdest season, on this time people from Merida move to Chicxulub and San Benito area, The prices are at least 2 time more expensive than winter.
