Cottage -
5 Bedrooms , 4 Bathrooms , Sleeps 10
Invershiel, Scottish Highlands, Scotland
Nestled at the foot of the Five Sisters of Kintail in the spectacular Glenshiel, Woodlands is an affordable, budget holiday home. Despite its low tariff, it offers a very high degree of comfort with excellent facilities and wonderful views. This spacious house sleeps 10 extremely comfortably and has 4 bath and/or shower rooms. In one of the outbuildings there is a pool table and dart board. Please note this is a very basic, unheated, timber building which has proved to be very popular over the years.

With 22 Munros in the area, some accessed directly from the house, Woodlands is incredibly well-placed for hill-walkers. It is also great for ramblers too with an abundance walks of all levels. Being on the A87, it is also perfect for touring much of the northwest highlands and islands, The huge lounge and kitchen makes ideal for large famil...

Interaction with guests
I live 4 miles away from Woodlands so, unless I am away for any reason, I am on-hand should guests require anything. I do not like to intrude without invitation but am more than happy to visit the house if requested to do so. On receiving the booking, I will email an area information and house information sheet. If more information is needed, I am happy to oblige, I once even arranged an area for guests to exercise their falcons. Please note, I do have a strict 'no birds' in the house rule although dogs are welcome.
