Guest access A great, award-winning village pub 100 meters away (The Saracens Head) serving excellent food and local ales; Althorp House (the home of the Spencer family and burial home of Princess Diana) is one mile away; Silverstone Race Track is approx. 20 minutes by car; Northampton Saints, Northants County Cricket Club are 20 minutes; Whilton Mill Karting (5 minutes); and great access to Junction 16 of the M1 Motorway which is 5 minutes away. The hosts have lived in Manor Farmhouse for twenty years. We're happy to provide local advice as required! Quiet and charming village. Lot's of great walks and country houses to visit. Northamptonshire is the county with the most historic country houses in the UK; it has first class cricket; a Grand Prix circuit; League football; horse-racing and a water sports centre....and a lot of very nice pubs! You'll need a car, bike, or good legs! There is no public transport although taxis are available. The nearest train station is LONG BUCKBY which is 5 miles away. The mezzanine double bed is accessed via a sturdy ladder - great fun. More

We stayed as friends were getting married in the village. Wonderful location for us. Hosts were very friendly and accommodating and easy to walk to the local pubs and enjoy the quiet village life. We had all we needed. Highly recommended.
