We have lovingly converted this Manchester home into an English country-style retreat with open plan living, lots of natural light and a beautiful garden backing onto Longford Park. We recommend a maximum of 6 guests. However, it is possible to accommodate up to 8 if 2 or more are children. This holiday home is perfect for couples, families or groups or business travellers visiting Manchester who are looking for exceptional accommodation. A completely refurbished house with plenty of space which has a country style decor, a mix of modern and traditional. It has all conveniences you would expect for today's living including a fully equipped kitchen with American-style fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and range cooker, free wifi, wide-screen TVs (one downstairs and another in the back bedroom), computer workstation with screen and printer ready to plug your laptop into. There is an iPod docking station for your own selection of music and a bluetooth speaker so you can have your music wherever you want it. Downstairs boasts open plan living with highly polished maple strip floors giving a warm and inviting feel. The lounge area has plush sofas and easy chairs to seat up to 8. There is a log burner to ensure you can enjoy warm, cosy days or nights around the fire. The dining area is spacious and light and looks out onto the back garden through large windows. The table seats 8 and we are happy to provide high chairs for young children. The kitchen is brand new with the sparkle that comes from a lovingly thought out design. it is great for sociable cooking and eating. Being keen foodies, the hosts have ensured everything is available for those who want to wine and dine themselves. All guests are welcomed with a hamper of necessary essentials on arrival. Cosykot is well insulated with highly effective central heating throughout so you will never feel the cold of Manchester winters. The French doors onto the patio bring the house and garden together. You can throw these open to enjoy those warmer days. There is on-site parking. The front garden is laid to lawn with a hedge for extra privacy. The lounge looks out onto the front garden. The French doors at the back of the house lead onto an extensive patio area and beyond is the garden laid mostly to lawn. The back garden is private and separated from the park by a tall hedge. Upstairs are 3 good sized double bedrooms which are tastefully decorated and the beds all have high quality Egyptian cotton linen. We provide fluffy white towels, spa-style slippers, a hairdryer and toiletries. There is a modern family bathroom with bath and rain shower and a separate toilet. Full house rules will be sent to you on enquiry. Some points below: We restrict pets to cats and dogs with a maximum of 2 pets. Dogs must not be let upstairs and any mess should be cleared up. If your pet is destructive this home is not for you. This is a residential area therefore we expect guests to respect the peace and privacy of the neighbours. Additional guests are not permitted and parties are strictly prohibited. Please remove shoes when you are in the house.

About the neighbourhood
We really recommend you have a look where we are located on Google Maps. You will see the wonderful opportunities all around the house. Backing onto Longford Park with its children's play areas, sports stadium, tennis courts, disc golf and gorgeous cafe, this house is ideal as a retreat whilst being only a 10 minute tram ride from Manchester City Centre. You will be spoilt for choice with shops, buses, trams, a pub, chemist, cafe and take-aways virtually on the doorstep. Manchester United and Old Trafford Cricket Grounds are less than a 15 minute walk away. The buzzing cafe culture and fine dining of Chorlton is just across the park and there are wonderful walks along the Mersey to Chorlton and Sale Water Parks.
Getting around
There are so many options for getting around. The bus into Manchester stops almost directly opposite the house or go the other way to Stretford, Sale, Altrincham and beyond. The Metrolink is a leisurely 10 minute walk away and will take you to almost anywhere in Manchester. There is a direct line to Piccadilly Station and only one change needed to get to the airport. For the more active, there is City Bike rentals at the Old Trafford Cricket Ground. Alternatively local taxis are incredibly reasonable with most only charging a maximum of £3 to get to Chorlton and £12 into the City Centre.
