Beachfront Holiday Home - Beach House 3 is a private beachfront holiday home, nestled amongst the island's landscape just steps from the sandy beach on Moreton Island in the Tangalooma Resort. As a guest you can indulge in almost all the activities the resort has to offer or simply immerse in relaxation.
Our beachfront house has 4 bedrooms and can accomodate 10 guests in one booking with a maximum of 8 adults in the group. Two of the twin beds listed are fold-down beds that are suitable for children only. There are 2 living areas, with ample room for 2 families enjoy their space. Indoor and outdoor dining, spectacular views from the upper balcony, large kitchen with BBQ off the back deck of the kitchen. Washing machine, dryer and clothesline. Beach is just steps away!

We have an on-island contact that is available should any matter arise that may need attention during your holiday at our home. The front door has a keyless lock and we send that code to you about a week prior to the start of your holiday and once all payments have been received and we have all the adult names in your group. We will send an information package to you so that you can familiarise yourself with getting to the island, activities on the island and general housekeeping info about the house. Happy to assist with any questions/queries along the way.

About the neighbourhood
Our Beachfront Holiday Home is located on Moreton Island - the third largest sand mass in the world, almost 20,000 hectares. 98% national park managed for recreation. It is a popular island for its long sandy beaches and clear freshwater lagoons. The home is located within the Tangalooma Resort where wild bottlenose dolphins frequent each evening to partake in the managed hand feeding programme. And from June to October if you are keen on getting up close to the humpback whales than Moreton Bay is the place to take a whale cruise. It has been tagged as one of the finest whale watching destinations in the whole of Australia. Cruises depart from Tangalooma Resort.
Getting around
The easiest way to get around the resort is walking as no vehicles are allowed within the resort boundaries. If you come over with your 4WD there is parking available at the bottom of the house. You will need a 4WD if you want to tour around the island and check out the ocean side and on up to the lighthouse. The resort does have 4WD vehicles for let.

Airport: Brisbane International and Domestic Airports : 35.0 km
Ferry: Tangalooma Resort Ferry Terminal : 35.0 km
Making your way over to the Tangalooma Resort on Moreton Island is an adventure itself. There are 2 main options: 1) Tangalooma Flyer/Jet - for passengers only and operated by the Tangalooma Resort with departures from the river end of Holt St., Eagle Farm, (about a 15 min taxi ride from the Brisbane Int Airport) Bookings are required. 2) Moreton Venture MiCat - for 4WD and passengers. Note that only 4WDs are allowed on the island. We do not suggest the MiCat for passengers only particularly if you are coming with young children as the walk from the boat to the house along the beach can be a bit daunting and you will need to carry your luggage with you. Details on transport there and back are provided in the info package we send.
