Elevated on a hill to capture tropical breezes, the property has stunning views of Thornton Peak, Cape Tribulation and the Coral Sea. We are located in close proximity to the beautiful Cow Bay beach, numerous waterholes, mangroves and rainforest boardwalks. We have two Bungalows; Mangosteen and (Rambutan), which have been constructed using rammed earth to ensure a cool interior and designed to maximise views of the mountain ranges from the comfort of your bedroom and bathroom. Both have an outdoor bath constructed of rammed earth, a pleasant way to soak under the stars. Each bungalow has private undercover decking with seating and self -contained cooking facilities. This place is beautiful. Very tranquil- we absolutely loved the outdoor bath, the view, and the open-air bathroom. The breakfast was beautiful and we felt so relaxed after our stay. Great location too. Highly recommended!

About the neighbourhood
Cow Bay is a small community with many of the homes beautifully camouflaged within the rain forest. There is a shop which provides basic supplies and a petrol station. The Cow Bay Beach is as stunning as any other tropical beach and is close proximity to many boardwalks and trails. We have two unique ice cream places, a few cafes and a hotel. You do need a car to get around and really explore the area. It is a 30-40 minute drive to Cape Tribulation.
