Holiday Rental House
A traditional shepherd’s hut with a modern twist, set in its own private area surrounded by native hedging with uninterrupted views over open countryside. This cosy retreat promises to let you unwind in country style, to make your stay as comfortable and relaxing as can be. You can put your feet up in front of a toasty log burner after a day exploring and watch the sunset while barbequing in the evening… and when the night falls, the dark starry skies here are sensational, just the thing before snuggling up in luxurious surroundings, listening to the calls of the tawny owls. We believe at the shepherd's rest that your holiday with us is an opportunity to unwind, enjoy the beautiful surrounding and reconnect with them. So we don't supply Wi-Fi on site (although a 4G signal is available)...A traditional shepherd’s hut with a modern twist, set in its own private area surrounded by native hedging with uninterrupted views over open countryside. So we don't supply Wi-Fi on site (although a 4G signal is available) and in the Shepherd's Huts we supply a radio. We don’t supply a TV or DVD player as way of a digital detox. We supply plenty of books and games in the Hut for you to read or play, so you can have time to relax, unwind or even be inspired! Your comfort is important, so there are shared toilets and mains electric shower cabins located on site . There is ample parking on site for cars or bikes located at the edge of the site. A local bus service operates from just 10mins walk down the road, connecting nearby towns, villages and the main railway station. We are also located close to many cycle and long distance walking routes, so cyclists and walkers are welcome to stay on site! As this is a working farm, unfortunately we cannot accept dogs. More

About the neighbourhood
Exploring the Scottish Borders and Northumberland We are located in Foulden, Berwickshire, the most easterly of the regions that make up the Scottish Borders. The English border is just 3 miles away, so our location is perfectly situated for exploring both sides of the border – two countries in one day! Foulden village has a pretty row of historic cottages and ancient Tithe barn looking across open fields to the Cheviot Hills. You can walk from here using footpaths or drive and park at the car park for a great panorama. The nearby village of Ayton, is home to The Hemelvaart Bier Café, a trendy continental style bier café bar which hosts live music, film and comedy events. Ayton Castle can be seen through the trees on your way to the
