Richards comprises a delightful Grade II Listed, thatched cottage of considerable age and character, dating back to the 16th century. In recent years the cottage has been the subject of a comprehensive restoration programme and is offered in good order, with modern fixtures and fittings and oil fired central heating. The accommodation includes three reception rooms, six bedrooms (including one at ground floor) and a well fitted kitchen/breakfast room. The property stands in good sized gardens with ample off road parking, surrounded by Tilbury Farm’s land.

Nice cottage close to the coast. 6 bed rooms and plenty of space in the house. Matt was helpful in getting us set up and responded promptly to any questions we had.

Spent a working week with partner, five children and beagle at Richards Cottage. Can't rate it highly enough! Wonderful and beautiful location, ample parking for three or four cars. Huge utility and kitchen. Six huge bedrooms and all but one double beds. Mattresses to die...More

We had a wonderful 3 night break at Richards Cottage. The accommodation was excellent, well proportioned and extremely clean. All mod cons but retaining a “home from home” feel. The owners were extremely helpful and ensured we had everything we needed. Fresh bread, bacon, sausages...More

Richards Cottage is in the Quantock ANOB (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty) similar to a National Park. This area is fantastic for walking, horse riding and mountain biking.

From Junction 25 follow signs to Taunton on the A358.

At the first roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto the A358.

At the major crossroads by Creech Castle, continue straight on the A358.

At the next roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Obridge Viaduct / A358.

At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Priorswood Road / A358.

Keep right at the fork & continue onto Kingston Road (signed to Kingston st Mary).

Continue straight for approx 5 miles, passing through the village of Kingston st Mary & then up Buncombe Hill.

At the top of Buncombe Hill (by Pines café), turn left. Continue along this road for 1.2 miles.
