Cottage
The Old Dairy dates back to the 18th c and was converted to a self contained one bedroomed cottage some years ago. It features a multi fuel burner which heats the water and radiators, a wet room, and fitted kitchen. There are two paved sitting areas, the upper area commanding excellent views of the Cardigan bay and the Llyn Peninsular. It is ideally suited for walkers, or just a quiet holiday away from it all....The Old Dairy dates back to the 18th c and was converted to a self contained one bedroomed cottage some years ago. About the neighbourhood
The surrounding area is one of outstanding beauty. Mountains, hills, beaches, rivers, lakes and winding lanes and footpaths leading to picnic areas and fantastic views. The Welsh language can be heard wherever you go. There are many restaurants and cafes, and lots to do even in the rain.
Getting around
The best way to explore the area is on foot, but you will need to drive about to really enjoy the myriad of walks etc. in the surrounding area. You can take a train from Fairbourne to Pwyllheli or the ferry to Barmouth. Driving is the most convenient way to get about, there is so much to see and experience.
