Cottage
Our beautiful cottage is close to all of Kent's castles, attractions and beaches, so ideal for exploring or relaxing . Guests love the peace, tranquility and incredible views across open countryside . Our cottage is good for couples wanting a romantic get away, solo adventurers, business travellers, and families. If you have never enjoyed a swim in a natural lake then now is your chance. Note: second bedroom is accessed through the main bedroom, use of the private hot tub is included in the price. NOTE : We are currently in Tier 4 Restrictions so only able to accommodate those travelling for essential business or to provide other emergency accommodation, we are not allowed under the rules to accept leisure bookings, we anticipate this will be the case for the whole of January 2021. The cottage was cosy and warm with good amenities. Very clean and quaint. However we did find the shower was a problem, it kept going cold and the water only trickled out, other than that everything was excellent.

Irene, thank you for review and for highlighting the problem with the shower, we have had it replaced with a new Mira Sport which has rectified the issue. We hope this did not detract from your stay

About the neighbourhood
Challock provides two pubs, one serving excellent food 7 days a week and a barn shop providing local Kent produce. The towns of Canterbury, Ashford and Faversham are within easy reach by car. Challock is a rural community with horse ridding, walking and cycling in some of Kent's most beautiful countryside including the amazing Kings wood. Also available in the village is the Kent Gliding club where you can book a passenger ride to soar high above your accommodation and see all across Kent on a clear day. The Beech Court Tea Rooms and gardens are also worth a visit.
