About the neighbourhood
Sagra is a small village approximately 10km inland from the coast. It nestles in the foothills of the Mitgdia mountain range and is halfway between the two market towns of Pego and Orba. To the South there are acres of citrus and almond groves which are wonderful to walk or cycle through at any time of the year.
The area is good for climbers also. Denia is the main civic town and it is situated in the northern most part of the province about half way between the two cosmopolitan cities of Alicante and Valencia. It is a large coastal resort with much to offer and enjoy.
A little further afield are the popular resorts of Javea Moraira and Calpe all with their own unique character and fabulous beaches. Sagra's fiestas begin during the first week of August but each village will have it...
Getting around
The easiest way to get around and see the sights is by car or motorbike. There is a train that runs from Benidorm to Denia (nearest coastal town) and there are small local buses that run twice a day through the villages stopping within walking distance to the villa. There is also a coach that runs from Alicante airport to Ondara (nearest town).
