The cottage features an open plan living area with a well-equipped kitchen, dining area and a warm and a large sofa which can seat all eight guests. The sleeping accommodation consists of a king-size bedroom on the ground floor accessed via a small room with bunk beds, you will also find a ground floor shower room. This is a great new addition to Skipton. Location is superb, close to shops ,bars and the canal with the bonus of 2 car parking spaces. Facilities are spot on with plenty of toys and games for kids and lots of DVDs plus wifi ....More

Known as “The Gateway to the Dales”, Skipton is well placed for visiting all that the Dales has to offer, whilst York, the Lake District and the West Coast are also within easy motoring distance. This lovely market town has much to interest the enthusiastic visitor, boasting an ancient castle open to the public, a beautiful old parish church and a colourful market occupying the cobbled setts each side of the high street. In 2008 the Academy of Urbanism voted the High Street the best shopping spot in Britain, and The Copper Dragon/Greyhawk Brewery is highly rated in the CAMRA listings. Steam railways with regular excursions are available at Embsay and Bolton Abbey, and the Leeds to Liverpool Canal passes through Skipton with the 1 mile long
