If you are looking for somewhere to stay that is different from all the rest, then the Stables accommodation with Hot tub, is for you. These converted stables are nearly 400 years old and now provide accommodation for up to 4 people. The conversion has been tastefully done retaining many of the original features which has created a French Gite type of experience.

Maybe you are attending a wedding venue close by and need somewhere to stay. We are ideally located for weddings or functions held at Speech House, Clearwell Castle, Wilton Court, Glewstone Court and many others. Do get in touch and we can help you with this. May a holiday out of it and prolong your stay!

The Stables has a beautiful hot tub and patio with dining and seating area alongside. At 38c the Hot tub provides that special treat all year round.

We are available to help through out your stay and nothing is too much trouble. We will leave you alone to enjoy your break but are on hand should you need us. We will meet you at the property to hand over the keys and show you round to make sure that everything is as you expected. Our approach is friendly and welcoming coupled with respect for your privacy. There is information in the property which outlines things to do, where to go, including personalised maps, as well as details about the property and its history. We also provide an OS map to your walks to make sure you don't get lost!

A lovely welcome. Homemade cake and bread on arrival. The stables has everything you need. We headed straightaway for the hot tub set in a pretty setting, overlooking fields and a valley. Private garden was perfect for our two dogs. This is all set in...More

This was our second visit to the wonderfully homely and hidden away gem that is the Stables. Within an hour you can be in Cirencester, Gloucester and the Brecon Beacons and a great place to return to at the end of the day. The Forest...More

The Forest of Dean is a popular place for visitors who are looking to enjoy the Countryside. This includes, canoeing on the River Wye, surfing the Severn Bore, rock climbing, horse riding, mountain biking, model railway, the famous ;Go Ape; as well as two golf courses. Pedalabikeaway supplies a variety of bikes for hire, for long rides through the forest, and there are many historical places of interest, including several ancient castles. There is so much to see and do in the Forest of Dean! With such a spectacular range of natural beauty, outdoor leisure activities, family attractions, plus a whole host of events and festivals, the Forest of Dean is the perfect place for a holiday or short break getaway, at any time of year.

The property is in the beautiful Forest of Dean, located off the B4136 between Gloucester and Monmouth just outside Coleford in Gloucestershire. It is situated in the Forest of Dean in the beautiful Wye Valley. An area of outstanding Natural Beauty. Most of our visitors travel by car as it is useful to be able to get about during your stay. However, Lydney station has regular trains from Gloucester and our local taxi service is very accommodating and will drive down our track to collect and to drop off.
