Outside there's off road parking for two cars, an enclosed veranda with furniture and barbecue and an enclosed lawned garden. With walks and cycle routes, as well as plenty of attractions in the area makes Bwthyn-y-Rhiw an ideal base.

Town: The market town of Llandeilo is situated on a hill, above the River Tywi, and offers a selection of gift shops, eating places and pubs, as well as the medieval Dinefwr and Carreg Cennen Castles. Close by are the Brecon Beacons National Park, the Carmarthenshire Fans and Black Mountains.

My husband stayed here for 6 nights this week and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect place to stay. The owners were friendly and helpful. The cottage was very very clean and had all the things needed for a perfect stay. The kitchen was well equipped and the fridge freezer and washing machine justed added to a great place. The views were stunning, watching the sheep every day was a bonus, A great place to stay in a lovely area.
