It features a large open plan living dining area with beautiful feature wall and exposed beams, perfect for relaxing in after a busy day exploring the local area. The self catering cottage has a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and two bathrooms. The well equipped fully fitted kitchen includes electric double oven, ceramic hob, microwave with grill, dishwasher, fridge and freezer. Everything you need to make delicious meals with ease! We can also provide a cot for an infant on request. x1 small/medium sized dog welcome. Due to the age of the property, there are low ceilings in kitchen, twin bedroom & bathrooms Close to main road, so some road noise may be heard. Please keep noise to a minimum when arriving/leaving late at night or very early in the morning.

Beautiful cottages in pretty location

We had a relaxing holiday here. The Long Barn is decorated very tastefully, & has everything you need, comfy beds, two bathrooms, well fitted kitchen. We combined a family wedding with our summer holiday, so the area we could stay in was chosen for us....More

Gorgeous cottage, in stunning surroundings

Stunning cottages & location.

The Millers Cottage has been renovated to a very high standard, with everything you need for an amazing time away. With local pubs serving fantastic food. The location is perfect for visiting Chester in one direction or Anglesey in the other.

relaxing holiday

the long barn is stunning. we stayed with family and you can take long or short walks straight from the door - beautiful countyside, country pubs , good food. Very central for chester zoo. cheshire oaks if you are missing shops! loved it !

About the neighbourhood
Its a rural area but with good road links. We are surrounded by pretty villages, we have walks from the doorstep, through woodland, and meadows. There are several good food pubs in the local villages, including the popular Cherry Pie Inn, which is just next door! In addition, there's a newly opened gastro pub 10 minutes away, with lovely terraces and beautiful views. We also have a fantastic Indian restaurant, 1 mile away. Its a great touring destination, within a 45 minute radius you can visit Chester, Llandundo, Conwy, Bettwys-Y-Coed, and Llangollen. Liverpool, Manchester, and Snowdonia are only an hour away.
Getting around
As its a rural location a car is recommend. We are on bus route to the local town (Approximately 4 buses a day..) The closest train station is a 20 minute drive. The local super markets are 6 miles away, however, we do have a couple of lovely local deli's in the villages close by.
