Llanfair, Harlech, Snowdonia National Park, North Wales, Wales
Tyddyn-y-Felin is a period farmhouse dating back to 1592 and was the home of a local bard who was the present owner's Grandfather. Four generations of the family have lived here. The home has a lot of history and used to have a water wheel, hence the name Felin meaning mill. Situated in a wealth of unspoilt beauty in a quiet position in the hills above Harlech, 2 miles, with its sandy beaches, 18 hole Royal St. David's Golf Club and castle. The house is reached via a 300 meter farm road off a country lane and cycle path which leads to the Roman Steps and another valley with its waterfalls and magnificent scenery for walking. Situated in the Snowdonia National Park and within easy reach of Portmeirion, Porthmadog, Barmouth and several tourist attractions. The owners live in a small annexe at the side and there is a pond for fishing... Read more
