Dank der Größe und Ausstattung incl. Extras wie Pool, Außenküche, etc. hatten wir eine supertolle Zeit. Auch die Lage in ländlicher, ruhiger Gegend mit Meerblick war einfach famos! Absolut empfehlenswert!

Belle villa avec piscine
Très bon accueil par Ana qui est restée disponible durant notre séjour.
La villa est éloignée du centre. Si vous désirez y aller à pied, il vous faut parcourir 2 km. L'endroit est calme de la journée mais la nuit, on entend fréquemment des chiens aboyer. L'eau de la piscine n'est pas chauffée.
La villa est grande et bien équipée. Une rénovation des salles de bain serait nécessaire. Les bouchons pour les éviers ne sont pas adéquats on gaspille de ce fait beaucoup d'eau.

The villa is quite grand, and very spacious. Altogether it worked very well. The surroundings are not particularly beautiful, but it served us well as a base for excursions. There is a direct road up to Teide, marked as very narrow on the map, but actually very good.
The only real criticism I have is that the arrangement for getting the key ( a small box inside the gate with a combination lock ) is very problematical. It's extremely difficult to access it and to see the numbers, particularly at night!!

The villa is excellent, very spacious, well kept and clean. Good internet connection.
The area is rural, a car is a must to get to shops and restaurants in Guimar, but the roads are narrow so you have to take care when driving.
Nice swimming pool and large outdoor area but only one small balcony facing east. The owner was very helpful and fixed the hot water for us. We can certainly recommend the house for a big family or group.

Een heerlijke vakantie en een fantastische villa!
We zijn in juli 2019 twee weken op vakantie geweest naar Tenerife. Finca La Albahaca is een geweldig huis op een mooi, ruim terrein met een fijn groot zwembad met ligbedden! Alberto en zijn familie onderhouden het huis goed, ze komen twee keer per week het terrein schoonmaken, waarbij ook het zwembad goed wordt gereinigd. Voor vragen kun je altijd bij hen terecht, ook voor tips voor uitstapjes in de omgeving. Ook in het huis liggen veel brochures over bezienswaardigheden op Tenerife. Er is ruim voldoende parkeergelegenheid voor meerdere auto's. Onder het huis zijn twee grote vertrekken, waar je ook gebruik van kunt maken. Er is daar ook een wasbak en extra koel- vriescombinatie. De grote barbecue is door ons meerdere keren gebruikt. Het huis zelf is erg groot, er zijn ruim voldoende kamers en bedden. Ook de keuken is ruim opgezet. Hoewel er geen airco en bijna geen ventilators zijn, kun je het huis 's morgens goed doorwaaien als je de ramen op elkaar openzet. Het waait eigenlijk altijd op Tenerife. Daardoor is het ook bij warm weer goed uit te houden in de woning. We zijn dolfijnen en walvissen wezen spotten bij Puerto Colon, naar de Teide geweest met de kabelbaan en ook Loro park en Siam park waren zeer de moeite waard. De omgeving is erg mooi, je kunt de vulkaan bij de kust van Güímar zelfs beklimmen, waar je een mooi uitzicht hebt op de omgeving. De vele stranden met gezellige restaurants en boulevards zijn zeker ook een bezoek waard.
Kortom, we hebben genoten van deze vakantie! Alberto en familie: hartelijk bedankt!

We had a most enjoyable stay in a lovely house and scenery.
We had great difficulty finding the house, spending over 2 hours in Guimar, asking numerous people before 2 German tourists helped us find the location. A detailed map from the motorway would have been very helpful. The house and grounds were superb as were the views. We had problems with the kitchen equipment, the kettle leaked badly and the replacement one worked once and not again. Some instructions for the hob and oven would be very useful. Not knowing the area a map showing nearby supermarkets, shops etc would be very helpful. Alberto was very helpful. We would definitely return as we really enjoyed our stay.
