House Rental
Llechwedd is a 4 bed, 2.5 bath house of character with free WIFI, sea views, short walk to the beach. We provide hotel quality linens and towels and a complimentary welcome pack.
Llechwedd, meaning hillside in English, was built in 1911 and is a former country seat of historical note. The house enjoys outstanding sea views from its elevated position, and is surrounded by extensive gardens. It is located within the Snowdonia national park, in the popular coastal village of Llwyngwril. With good transport links along the coast using the Cambrian Railway line, it is close to many of the attractions of this beautiful area of Snowdonia. Excellent Cottage and surroundings....
It was very clean and well-prepared. Family friendly and full of enchantment in the gardens. Also there is a lovely view of the beach. Definitely we are going back for longer stay...

Beautiful home in a stunning setting
Me and my friends and family loved staying here - it was perfect. The weather was glorious and we had breakfast outside in the garden most days, and got the most out of the beautiful grounds. The house is perfectly positioned for watching the sunset over the sea, and the garden room is magical. The house is spacious but also very cosy, and a great balance between traditional styling and modern convenience. Also the village is lovely and the locals are all really friendly and welcoming. I’d definitely come back here, any season of the year!

Wonderful family house - perfect welsh holiday
Thanks so much for a truely wonderful holiday home!
The holiday house is amazing. We were a large
Party but the house is big enough for a couple of families staying together. The boys loved the garden, and the grounds were a definite highlight! Boys spent hours playing games in the garden. Excellent bbq facilities and lovely summer house.
The welcome gifts and rapid response to any emails were greatefully received!
Thanks again, we would definitely come back as it’s amazing place for a family holiday, and there is soooo much to explore in the local area

About the neighbourhood
Llwyngwril is a traditional and peaceful village in the Snowdonia National Park. It is well located on the coast of Cardigan Bay, but also within the mountain ranges of Snowdonia. Within easy reach are the coastal towns of Barmouth and Aberdovey and also Coed y Brenin national mountain bike centre, Cadair Idris, Bala Lake, Adventure Parc Snowdonia (Surf Snowdonia), Zip World and Zip Fforest. In addition there are several steam railways and many sights of historic interest including castles such as Harlech.
There is a village shop within 150m of the house and a pub 100m away (currently awaiting new tenants).
