About the neighbourhood
Freshford is a beautiful village at the southern-most tip of the Cotswolds, about five miles south-east of Bath and three miles west of Bradford on Avon. The village sits above the convergence of the Frome and Avon rivers and is largely characterised by stone buildings surrounded by fields and woodland. The hills and valleys that surround the village have many wonderful walks (full details can be provided.) Today, Freshford is a warm community with all the services, activities and amenities a rural village needs to thrive - a lovely place in which to live and a lovely place to visit.
Getting around
See above. You can use the train to get to Bath, Bristol and Bradford on Avon etc as there trains every hour. A car gives you more flexibility if you want to explore places like Longleat or Stourhead.
