The farmhouse is situated in the picturesque rural Devon countryside, enclosed with tranquil rolling hills and offering stunning walks both on the property and as an ideal base to explore the surrounding area. Approached via a long drive, the period property is situated in an elevated position within a working sheep farm with over 180 acres of pasture. The former farmhouse sleeps up to 10 people in five bedrooms with two separate bathrooms & 1 en-suite and is the perfect base for a relaxing holiday with family & friends. There is a large modern kitchen-diner with expansive range cooker and adjoining utility area, as well as two reception rooms. Walking is a must with tons of birds and local wildlife to spot during your visit, don’t forget to bring your wellies in the winter! We have demarcated walking trails across 180 acres of farm & woodland. Dogs are accepted by prior arrangement. The farmhouse makes for a wonderful group stay with a relaxed family friendly feel. The Cathedral City of Exeter and large Sainsbury’s supermarket is a 15 minute drive away while Dartmoor National Park is a stone’s throw away, making it the ideal location for sightseeing, with many charming towns and villages within easy reach such as Chudleigh, Drewsteignton, Bovey Tracey and Exmouth.
