The cottage has a double room, and two singles, one with a basin and WC. There is a bathroom and downstairs, a kitchen with dining area, and a sitting room with open fire. Outside is off road parking for two cars, and a rear garden area with furniture. Two well-behaved pets welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shops 7 miles (Post Office shop 3 miles in Ulpha). Pub 1 mile. Note: Some very low beams in parts of the cottage. Region: Impressive mountains, open fells and clear-water lakes, the Lake District has it all. From walking in the mountains to exhilarating watersports or just a gentle cruise on a steam-powered yacht, Cumbria is the perfect holiday destination. Town: Broughton-in-Furness is situated in the south western corner of the Lake District and is just six miles from Coniston Water. The village offers a cobbled square, shops and pubs. From Broughton-in-Furness walking and climbing can be enjoyed, plus the Furness railway line runs from nearby Foxfield and makes for an ideal day out.More

We have just had a relaxing week at this beautiful remote cottage. Furnished in keeping with it's age with everything you would need, all towels, toilet rolls, soaps..... and wine and delicious homemade cake, left by the lovely owner. There is no wifi or mobile...More
