With a double sofa bed, and double blow-up mattress this little hut comfortably sleeps 4 (2 well behaved dogs too, free of charge). This little house has everything you need for a lovely holiday in the stunning Duddon Valley where you're surrounded by beautiful views all everywhere you look, in a rustic little house which has been rebuilt to reflect the area as it was 400 years ago. You also have a kitchenette with working hob - so, no, cooking outside if it rains - sink, pots, pans and utensils. Your sofa bed is in the centre of the house (*PLEASE NOTE* We do not provide linen). We can provide a double blow-up mattress which can be stored under your sofa bed, or standing up behind it. Just a couple of feet from the back door is a lovingly handcrafted shower cubicle, with plenty of hot water. Next door to this is an equally beautiful, lovingly hand crafted eco-toilet. As toilet cubicles. Go, I've never seen one so beautifully crafted. This little hut/house is situated in a 28 acre estate a few hundred yards from the River Duddon, which you can hear bubbling from your Bothy. The only other noise is the little songbirds that live on the land. It's incredibly tranquil. There are many walking/cycling paths, or hills and fells for those looking for more of a challenge. The setting of Old Oak Tree takes your breath away. It is perfect as a bolt hole while you explore the Lakes, or a laid back place to stay, dead and book and find yourself. Either way, it's a wonderful place to stay when visiting The Lake District. More

What a delightful and warm welcoming to the place. Bev was very kind and reminded us what eco natural living is like again. Out in the secluded lands which were designed by Bev himself. Definitely would recommend. Pet friendly too! Will be staying again :)
