The property is beautiful , the people that run the property are con-artists, from the second we got into the house everything became a service , we requested extra towels , they gave them to us only at the end of the trip they told us they cost 50 euros, we asked for cleaning for the fee they asked they whipped down the toilets, upon going to the owners and asking them to clean the beds and give us towels , they told me "This is a VIlla not a Hotel" , there was no toilet paper they informed me i must get my own. I requested for a private chef the first night i was there i also requested for shopping so i would have food in the fridge. first off all they didnt buy all the things i requested still charged me the full fee which is 50 euros for shopping , then they charged me another fee 70 euros that the chef went shopping for the dinner produce , while in the end the chef ended up using the produce that i asked for my self, the Dinner cost 500 euros also not the agreed upon...

The property is stunning, with lovely grounds and a beautiful pool (unheated). The interior is furnished in Tuscan style with wonderful antique furniture. There are expansive views of hills and valleys. It is a little noisy at times because the very narrow and winding road to the town requires drivers to frequently sound their horn.
We found the kitchen a little inconvenient for doing much cooking as there is very little counter space and the large gas cooktop (electric ovens) was rather temperamental. Although there were several cupboards of cooking utensils, most of them were not in good repair so we purchased quite a few items in the nearby town as well as kitchen knives. Also, unlike other villas we've rented in Italy and France, there were no staples provided. Most places have things like salt, flour, olive oil etc. for when one first arrives but...
