A beautiful place a hidden gem
A wonderful week spent at this villa officially an apartment with pool But it is so much more. I hope these photos tell you why. We were a family of 5 and the rooms and space was enough with room to spare. Outdoors was great and we could easily have stayed for longer. We usually hire a car when we travel but unless you really want to do a lot of sightseeing then rent one. But be warned the roads a very very narrow in the village even for the smallest if fiats. Even a mini would have trouble navigating the turns. The small square with a high heart and the friendliest of people. There is one down size the walk to the village square from the villa is steep. So you need strong legs. But we got stronger thru the week. Stefano was a great host and we benefited greatly with him on site. This villa is perfect for a quite getaway and total relaxation with enough to do with easy access by local bus to ceful 3 euros return, to get more excitement and local attraction. The Beach is nearby but to be honest the villa catered for our needs and the beach looked pretty busy. We all look forward to return one day.

Beautiful pristine accommodation in glorious setting
Like others, we wished we had stayed longer, had more time to enjoy the wonderful garden and setting. The lounge opens onto the garden with clear views of the sea. The accommodation is extremely well appointed, and recently decorated a tasteful grey..not orange sash own in the photos.it is very well equipped. The outside catering area is brilliant. Stefano , welcoming, gentle and kind. Save some time for the wonderful nature park nearby! The village too is quaint. An osteiria, pizzeria and lovely shop. Beds comfy, place very clean, near by parking. Highly recommend

Perfect for holiday with young family
Excellent place in amazing location. Little ones (aged 1, 4 and 7) loved outside space and pool. Short drive to Cefalu and great base to do other day trips to places such as Enna and Etna.

Amazing!!
Great location, great hosts. We lucked out with amazing weather in October. Host host was friendly and so helpful. The two kitchens and quiet was just what we needed. The location was centralized... everything on the island was less then a two hour drive. Make the drive to the white sand beaches... amazing! My only complaint was the town. The posting said two restaurants however in October not a single one was open for the entire week we were there. The bar was open however they had no food options. Lesson learned, hit the grocery store on your way in. Not wise to head to the bar only to realize you have to drive to food. You do need a car for this property however parking was easy. Stefano met us in town when we arrived and made life easy.

Fabulous place to stay.
Stayed for a week in June. The pictures are very accurate. A very nice set up overlooking the sea with fabulous outdoor areas including a full outdoor kitchen and large BBQ. Meticulously cared for throughout. Although being the basement of the owners house, it has been set up so privacy is not a problem. Access is from steps and typical Italian steep cobbled streets but this just adds to the charm. The village itself is adorable with a lovely Pizzeria and bar on the Piazza and a fabulous newly opened restaurant Osteria style nearby. Cefalu is only a short cab away too. If you don't mind hills and don't want to be surrounded by tourists it's unbeatable.

Fantastic Apartment and Marvellous View
We stayed for 6 nights in January and we really enjoyed our stay here. The view from the apartment is magnificent!! The apartment is very nicely furnished and has everything you need. Stefano met us in the village and guided us to the apartment and fully explained all things we needed to know. We were here in winter but there is a pool, full outdoor kitchen as well as the indoor kitchen, lovely barbecue. There are certainly a lot of stairs down to the apartment and you need to be aware of these if you have mobility issues. You probably do need a small car if you stay here, which we had, and it was a great base to explore this side of Sicily. The lanes was narrow so a small car is best. We did day trips to Agrigento and Erice from here and it was easy and made a great place to come back to at night.

A great spot in Sicily!!!
I stayed here with friends for a long weekend holiday in Sicily. It was perfect! There were 5 of us - the apartment was very comfortable and clean! It was obvious that this place was well-maintained. Stefano and his wife were very gracious hosts, feeding us when we arrived to find all restaurants/shops closed... they arranged airport transfers, etc. Fantastic, thoughtful hosts! I was worried that we did not have the house to ourselves - as they live upstairs... but it was very private in any case and nice to know they were there if we needed help. Also - the little village of Sant Ambrogio was very cute... and very close to Cefalu! I would highly recommend staying here to anyone interested in staying near Cefalu for their Sicilian getaway.
